This Independence Day, Ice Spice is gonna party like it’s 2000.
The Grammy Award nominee, 24, gave fans an eyeful as she revealed the cover art for her debut album Y2K on Wednesday, in addition to announcing a world tour.
‘HIIIII >.< Y2K THE ALBUM WILL BE DROPPING JULY 26TH!!!! pre-save the link in my bio now,’ Ice Spice wrote on Instagram with the promo image.
She displayed her ample derriere in a tiny pair of denim cut-off shorts and knee-high boots as she posed on a New York City sidewalk.
The cover also featured a subway entrance with the station markers I, C and E, as well as a trashcan tagged with ‘Y2K’ in neon colors.

A subway card featuring the artist’s name can be seen as well, following her and Capitol Records’ collab with the city’s Metro Transportation Authority (MTA).
Last month, the MTA released 50,000 limited-edition MetroCards with Ice Spice’s photo printed on the back, available at stations in Manhattan and The Bronx.

Kicking off July 6 in Roskilde, Denmark, the 24-city tour concludes on August 31 in Miami Beach. Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday at 10am.
After announcing Y2K and dropping the album’s first single ‘Think U the S*** (Fart)’, Ice Spice revealed she ‘finished recording’ the album in March.
Named after her birth year, Ice Spice teased the album on The Today Show in January, raving that she’s ‘so excited’ for the release.
‘I have a crazy collaboration that just got locked in, like, two days ago,’ she said at the time.
Ice Spice noted the album was ‘dropping soon’ as she appeared on an episode of Hot Ones in March.
‘Every time I work on a song, I’m like, “This is going to be released,”‘ she told host Sean Evans. ‘That hasn’t always been the case, but for this album process, that was the case.’

The Like..? artist added that the album passed her ‘car test,’ explaining. ‘I’ve been playing the album fully through in the car, volume all the way up. And it passed. Thankfully, it passed.’
Last month, she released the album’s second single ‘Gimmie A Light’ along with a colorful, risqué music video.
In addition to her debut studio album, Ice Spice is preparing to make her onscreen debut alongside Denzel Washington.
In April, she was cast in Spike Lee’s upcoming A24 film High and Low, ‘about a businessman who has to pay a ransom to kidnappers, leading him to ruin.’
