Meanwhile, The Daily Telegraph reports that the property has now been leased for a whopping $1800 a week.
Thorpe, known as Australia’s greatest ever Olympic swimmer, was a five-time gold medalist.
He rose to fame at age 17 during the Sydney Olympics in 2000, when he won five medals, including three gold.
