Hugh Jackman marked his first single birthday in nearly three decades while dining at Ralph Lauren’s first New York restaurant, The Polo Bar, on Thursday night.
As he rang in turning 55, one month after announcing his split from his estranged wife Deborra-Lee Furness, the Marvel star shared an image of himself looking sharp as he held up a celebratory drink to the camera.
‘Thank you ALL for the birthday love!!! I’m reading your messages, seeing the special videos and experiencing all the feels,’ he captioned the image.
He proceeded to share a snap of his dessert from the swanky eatery, which featured a scoop of ice cream, two shortbread cookies and his full name written in chocolate syrup.

Earlier in the day, the father-of-two was joined by close friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds on a relaxing stroll in New York City.
Both Ryan and Jackman are slated to appear in the upcoming film, Deadpool 3, together – with Reynolds reprising his role as Deadpool (Wade Wilson), and Hugh portraying his character of Wolverine.
The pair notably starred alongside each other in the 2009 film titled, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
While talking to People late last year about both his and Ryan’s characters back on the screen together, Hugh humorously stated, ‘I think it’s fair to say they’ll be punching the s**t out of each other the whole time.’
He added to the outlet, ‘All jokes aside, I’ll probably have more fun on this movie than any other I’ve ever done.’
The third movie in the Deadpool franchise is set to hit theaters next year in May 2024 – and is directed by Shawn Levy – who notably has worked on other films such as The Adam Project and Night At The Museum.
Other stars that have been cast in the anticipated sequel include Jennifer Garner, Brianna Hilderbrand, Morena Baccarin, The Crown’s Emma Corrin and also Succession alum, Matthew Macfayden.

Jackman’s recent NYC outing and birthday celebration come shortly after both he and Deborra-Lee Furness announced their separation after 27 years of marriage last month on September 15.
At the time, the former couple released a statement to People that read, ‘We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.’
‘Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.’
The two added, ‘Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.’

The pair had tied the knot in 1996 after crossing paths on set of Correlli in 1995. During the course of their marriage, they adopted two children: son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.
