Hugh Grant appeared to be in good spirits as he greeted fans in Manchester ahead of Thursday’s Chanel fashion show.
The Love Actually actor wrapped up warm in the cold as he was snapped arriving at Manchester Piccadilly train station before attending the lavish bash.
Hugh – who has appeared at multiple events hosted by the fashion house over the years – wore a long black coat for the trip that he teamed with a pair of matching trousers and a grey patterned scarf.
The star was all smiles as excited fans took photos of him as he made his way through the station.

Hugh’s trip to Manchester came ahead of the eagerly anticipated Wonka release.
The film – which focuses on a young Willy Wonka, played by Timothee Chalamet – stars Hugh as an Oompa-Loompa.
Hugh has come under fire for his part in the movie, with his casting criticised by actor George Coppen, who has dwarfism.
George argued that the part should have been offered to an actor with the condition as there is a lack of appropriate roles for dwarfs.
It seems like Hugh wasn’t a huge fan of playing the part, saying in a press conference that the experience was ‘drivel.’
‘It was like a crown of thorns, very uncomfortable,’ Hugh said of having cameras and other things on his face to help turn him into an Oompa-Loompa, Metro reported.
‘I made a big fuss about it,’ he admitted, adding ‘I couldn’t have hated the whole thing more.’
Hugh later joked, ‘I slightly hate [making films] but I have lots of children and need money.’
Hugh has been busy promoting the upcoming film, with him looking dapper last month as he attended the London premiere.

Speaking to presenter Jamie Laing on the red carpet, Hugh – who attended the glitzy bash with his wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein – revealed he was already getting emotional before he had even watched the film.
He said: ‘I cry at all films now without exception, so I’ll be crying tonight, I’m almost crying already.’
Hugh also admitted that it was the first movie premiere he had attended without watching the film beforehand.
He added: ‘I haven’t seen it. I’ve never been to a premiere of a film I’ve been in where I’ve never actually seen it before. I think it’s a first.
‘I live here so it’s not that exciting to be in London but I love this film, I love the people who made this film. I made Paddington 2 with them.
‘There’s no one I hate, which is very rare, cast, crew, producers, maybe a couple of executives I don’t like much. But otherwise they are a lovely bunch.’
