With her sanctimonious social media posts and description of herself as a ‘vegan girl’, Heidi Kadlecova has become known as a ‘vegan influencer’.
Her boyfriend, the Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville, has, however, made her easy meat for those wishing to accuse her of hypocrisy.
For he has revealed Heidi’s not a vegan at all but a keen consumer of fish and dairy products.
‘She’s neither a vegan or an influencer,’ said the actor, 61, who separated from his wife, Lulu Williams, in 2023.
Hugh said of Heidi on the Spooning podcast: ‘She has great empathy… but she’s a pescatarian and she applauds anyone who has their own food choices.’
She has previously posted: ‘Vegan is the only way’ and said: ‘You need to ask yourself some serious questions on whether you are living a life of kindness…or a life of indifference.’

The pair – who only started dating in recent months – have gone from strength-to-strength in their new relationship, with Hugh even claiming to be a ‘different person’ around his new girlfriend.
Hugh shot to superstardom for his portrayal of the Earl of Grantham in the ITV drama Downton Abbey.
Since his split from his wife of 25 years, he has reportedly enjoyed a string of dates with Canadian actress Claire Rankin, 54, back in March, but he has since moved on with Heidi and the pair are now happily together.
The Daily Mail revealed last August that he had introduced her to the cast and crew while filming the latest Downton movie.
And he is said to have asked Heidi to spend the day on location as he filmed final scenes for Go Away! in Hertfordshire.
A source told the Daily Mail that her presence perked up the veteran star, whose mood changed considerably while in the vegan influencer’s company sparking onlookers to describe the pair as ‘a couple of lovebirds’.
Plus, locals spotted the pair cuddling during breaks from filming scenes next to a church.
A source said: ‘Hugh and Heidi seemed really loved up and excited to be in each other’s company.’

‘Her being on set brought out another side to him, he was like a different person on set when she was around, considerably perkier.’
And earlier this month the couple looked happier than ever as he cosied up to the vegan influencer on the star-studded red carpet for the film’s premiere.
Hugh cut a very dapper figure in a black tuxedo which he paired with a crisp white shirt and black bow tie.
Meanwhile Heidi coordinated with the Paddington star in a glamorous black and nude dazzling gown which showed off her amazing figure.
