HRVY has split from his ex-Emmerdale actress girlfriend Mimi Slinger, he revealed in an update to social media on Tuesday.
The singer, 26, who was first linked to the actress, 22, in late 2021, admitted that he is ‘now single.’
In a clip shared to TikTok, HRVY looked thoughtfully at the camera and explained the reason for their break-up.
Making light of the situation, he captioned the post: ‘I’m now single… I blame that Vogue article.’
HRVY’s comments come in response to an article that was published by the magazine this month titled, Is Having A Boyfriend Embarrassing Now?.
According to the fashion bible, having a man in your life is seen as ‘cringe’ and ‘culturally loser-ish’, which is prompting women to hide evidence of their partners on social media.

The article claimed that being with a man is now an ‘almost guilty thing to do’ and that women who are in couples will still complain about how terrible men are – ‘partly in solidarity with other women, but also because it is now fundamentally uncool to be a boyfriend-girl.’
It explores the many different reasons why women want to keep their romances secret, as the writer admitted to muting her own contacts’ social media posts as soon as they mention a boyfriend.
One interviewee said that she never shared her 12-year relationship and feels vindicated since they recently split up and she doesn’t have to live with a public digital record of their relationship.
HRVY and Mimi were said to have developed ‘a real connection’ after meeting at the National Television Awards in 2021.
Reports the following month suggested he had already met Mimi’s friends and family.
It came just months after HRVY split from EastEnders actress Maisie Smith who he struck up a romance with after meeting on the set of Strictly Come Dancing.
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘HRVY and Mimi are completely loved up. Things are pretty serious between them.
‘They both know each other’s families and their friends have met.’

They added: ‘HRVY and Mimi have a real connection and those around them think they could go the distance because of what a good match they are. It won’t be long until they’re Instagram official.’
Sure enough, the couple confirmed their romance in February 2022 when HRVY took to Instagram to share a loved-up selfie with Mimi from their lavish getaway, along with an image celebrating her 19th birthday.
Mimi is thought to have been introduced to HRVY by his friend Romeo Beckham, whose own girlfriend Mia Regan is signed to her agency, Storm Models
She rose to fame playing Leanna Cavanagh on Emmerdale and spent three years on the soap before being killed off by Meena Jutla.
Since her time on Emmerdale the rising star has modelled and is also an aspiring musician.
