Diane Warren has landed her 15th Oscar nomination.

The most nominated woman in Oscar history who hasn’t won yet – except for her honorary Oscar in 2022 – was on the list Tuesday morning.

Warren was singled out for Flamin’ Hot’s The Fire Inside in the Original Song category.

The Fire Inside was sung by Becky G for Eva Longoria’s biopic about Richard Montañez (Jesse Garcia), a Frito-Lay janitor who rises through the ranks after creating the Flamin’ Hot Cheeto.

Also in the category were I‘m Just Ken’ from Barbie, It Never Went Away from American Symphony, Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People) from Killers of the Flower Moon and What Was I Made For? from Barbie.

Diane received an Academy Honorary Award at the Governors Awards in 2022.

In 2001, Warren was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In 2021 she talked to DailyMail.com about being nominated for her song Somehow You Do sung by Reba McEntire.

When asked about getting the gold, she told DailyMail.com, ‘It certainly would be nice to get up on stage and accept an Oscar.

‘I have written so many acceptance speeches in my head, it would be nice to finally deliver one.’

When asked about Somehow You Do? she said, ‘I’m excited, it’s one of my favorite songs. It’s an important song right now, with so many people going through hard times, thinking that you won’t get through it but somehow you do.

‘I just loved working with Reba!’

Diane was recently on the ABC special A Night in the Academy Museum TV special on ABC hosted by Tom Hanks and Laura Dern, where she cheekily made fun of her not winning the coveted gold statue after 12 nominations.

The Museum has The Oscar Experience as one of its attractions, where you can hold an Oscar and give an acceptance speech to a virtual audience.

Warren, known for her self-deprecating sense of humor, told us ‘the Museum is amazing and I was so proud that I got to be the one ironically showing what it’s like to give an acceptance speech having not gotten near that stage to give an acceptance speech after 12 nominations!

‘I joked at the end that I wasn’t going to give the Oscar back and there was a second there that I was going to walk out with that little gold man! They had to pry it out of my hands!’
