Home and Away star George Pullar has quietly married his longtime partner Charlie Francis in an intimate countryside ceremony.

The Gold Coast actor, 28, and healthcare practice manager, 29, wed in Northern New South Wales last month.

George, who joined Australia’s longest running soap in 2024 as Tim Russell, has been drip-feeding photographs from the big day to social media as he settles into newlywed life with his bride.

‘The long game works,’ he captioned a carousel of photos from the gorgeous sunset ceremony at Fins at Plantation House in Kingscliff.

The Playing for Keeps actor made a cheeky reference to the unconventional way he met his future wife in a hospital.

‘George had a bacterial infection in his foot from a reef cut while surfing and I worked at the hospital (in a cardiac clinic),’ bride Charlie told the Courier Mail.

‘It was during Covid, so George wasn’t allowed any visitors,’ Charlie continued.

‘He contacted me to ask if I wanted to stop by for a visit after work. We just remember talking for hours and how effortless it was. We both knew it was the start of something special.’

Five years later, the happy couple surprised and delighted their 188 wedding guests with a choreographed first dance to Michael Jackson’s The Way You Make Me Feel.

The Poppy tiered skirt, made from pure silk chiffon and hand-embroidered with unfurling poppies made from glass beads, retails for $5800.

The beaming bride finished her classic, yet laid-back, bridal look with the matching $860 Juliet-style veil.

‘The Poppy gown was the first thing I ever tried on,’ she told Courier Mail.

‘I instantly fell in love with the intricate detail and boho feel of the gown. I wanted a fun party dress for the dance floor.’

George complemented the lush countryside scenery in a forest green suit by Sydney-based suit tailors Oscar Hunt, which he accessorised with a white rose lapel.

The eight bridesmaids and groomsmen were dressed in black-and-grey suits and long floral maxi dresses, paired with natural bouquets.

The newlyweds let their hair down at the reception and downed a few margaritas prior to performing their tightly rehearsed first dance.

Charlie stepped out in a gorgeous flapper-style Cynthia Mini dress by Rachel Gilbert.

The $1800 ostrich feather ensemble allowed her to wrap her legs around her husband’s waist and really get into the dance routine.

‘We wanted a wedding location that felt remote and intimate but was also not too far from guest accommodation,’ Charlie said.

‘We truly wouldn’t change a thing, but we did make the decision early on in our wedding preparation that if we were going to splurge on anything, it would be the band. And that turned out to be a great call. We wanted an epic dance floor and we got one.’

‘Still buzzing from the most incredible weekend,’ George captioned a second carousel of photos from that dance floor.

The first image shows him making out with his bride, with his new wedding band on display and a Corona in hand.

Short videos showed the couple partying away the weekend with all their nearest and dearest on the beach.

George joined the cast of Home and Away in 2024 and his character, Tim, was introduced as a new love interest for Eden Fowler, played by Stephanie Panozzo.

The December cliffhanger for the soap opera saw Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) waking up next to Tim’s lifeless body.
