Anne Heche’s 23-year-old son has a secret love child with a woman nearly twice his age, the Daily Mail can reveal.
Homer Laffoon’s baby mama Jessica Lamberto, 43, has now accused him of ignoring the toddler for seven months, refusing to sign the boy’s birth certificate, failing to show up to the birth and not paying pay child support.
‘I can’t tell you how hurtful that was and how embarrassing that was for me with my mom and my sister and my sister-in-law in the room,’ Lamberto, 43 said in an exclusive interview.
Laffoon, 23, is the older of Heche’s two sons. He is the son of cameraman Coleman ‘Coley’ Laffoon, who the late actress married after dumping Ellen DeGeneres.
Heche – who also dated Steve Martin, Thomas Jane and Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham – died in 2022, six days after she plowed her Mini Clubman car into a house in the Mar Vista district of Los Angeles, sparking a blaze that took 59 firefighters to quell.
Laffoon has spent the past two years dealing with the fallout from his 53-year-old mother’s death, including a long running probate case involving multiple creditors and two heirs – himself and his half-brother Atlas, 16, who was fathered by Heche’s Men in Trees co-star James Tupper.

Jessica Lamberto says she reached out to Homer to offer condolences after his mother’s sudden death – following a period in which they lost touch during the pandemic – and became pregnant with their son, Rocco, soon after

Heche’s estate is being sued for $6 million by the owners and tenant of the house her car destroyed. She was found to have cocaine and fentanyl in her system at the time of the crash.
Now, the Daily Mail can reveal Laffoon’s family life is more complicated than ever following the birth of his son Rocco, now 2.
He is being sued over child support by Riverside County, which is asking a judge to order that he must pay $1,013 a month starting in December, according to court papers.
He did not respond to the Daily Mail’s request for comment.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, glamorous brunette Lamberto told how the pair first met online and hung out several times in 2020 but lost contact during the pandemic.
On hearing of the Six Days, Seven Nights star’s death, she said she reached out to Homer offering condolences which led to a renewed friendship.
‘We would just casually text off and on and say hi here and there, and then that was kind of it,’ Lamberto, who lives in Long Beach, told the Daily Mail.
Emmy-award-winning actress Anne famously dated Steve Martin and then Ellen DeGeneres, before leaving the talk show host for Homer’s father, cameraman Coleman ‘Coley’ Laffoon
Lamberto said that when she told Homer about the pregnancy, he ghosted her for several weeks before allegedly reaching back out to say he wanted no part in her life, or the baby’s, if she went through with the pregnancy
‘We weren’t really hanging out. But when his mom unfortunately passed away and all that happened, I reached out to give my condolences. That’s when we kind of reconnected.’
Although Lamberto says the relationship was more of a friendship and ‘casual’, it became physical and she found she was pregnant six months after the crash.
That, said the single mom, came as a total shock and she was initially reluctant to tell Laffoon the news due to the estate battle.
‘I already knew he was going through a hard time, and I felt like I didn’t want to put that stress on him,’ Lamberto said.
‘But I was stressed out too, and I was going through it too.’
When she told Laffoon he would shortly be a father, Lamberto said his initial reaction was shock followed by concern for her wellbeing.

Then he went silent for weeks. ‘He reached out maybe a couple of weeks after I told him the news,’ remembered Lamberto.
‘He pretty much just flat out told me he had no intention of being in my life or the child’s life if I decided to go through with pregnancy.’
That would prove to be the start of a pattern of behavior that continued throughout her pregnancy with Laffoon flipping between concern and insisting he wanted nothing to do with his baby, Lamberto claimed.
His own dad Coley and stepmom Alexi, both realtors, weren’t told about the pregnancy until Lamberto was seven months along – and only found out because her parents told them, she said.
Laffoon, who works as an executive assistant at LA production company John Wells Productions – whose hits include Shameless – claimed he couldn’t get the day off work for the baby’s birth in October 2023, according to Lamberto.
He also refused to sign the birth certificate for Rocco despite telling Lamberto that he would, she said.

‘Right towards the end of my pregnancy, Homer had a full turnaround, and he was being supportive and told me the baby would be a blessing.
‘His exact words: “It’d be a blessing to be in the delivery room and to be there for the birth of our son”.
‘But he didn’t show up.
‘I called him and he wasn’t responding to my text messages, wasn’t answering my calls. Then I finally get a text message – a text message, not even a phone call!
‘And he says, I can’t get the time off work to come out to see you, to be there for the birth at the hospital. I can’t leave work.’
Another period of semi-silence ensued, said Lamberto, punctuated only with sporadic texts and photo exchanges.
In the end, Laffoon didn’t even meet Rocco until he was two months old, she said.

As seen in exclusive Daily Mail photos, adorable Rocco bears a strong resemblance to his Hollywood dad at the same age – and also shares his father’s and grandmother Heche’s blonde coloring.
Despite the family resemblance, Lamberto says that first meeting didn’t go well with Laffoon showing little interest in the baby – which she initially put down to shock and nerves.
But it once more proved the start of a pattern, she said. In the two years since Rocco was born, his mom says he has only seen his dad and paternal family a handful of times – and has been completely ignored for the past seven months, not even getting a phone call to mark his second birthday on October 17.
‘It’s very hurtful,’ Lamberto told the Daily Mail. ‘On my end, I feel more embarrassed just because I kind of got a false impression when he told me he was going to be there for the birth and then it all backfired on me, and he wasn’t there.
‘But I feel so bad for Rocco and he’s getting older now, so, he’s more aware of male figures like my brother and his grandpa, my dad.
‘He wants that male attention and it’s so sad he doesn’t know who his dad is. The handful of times he has seen Rocco, it was always me taking him and driving to their house.
Though Homer held his son during his meeting, he appeared largely disinterested, Lamberto claimed – a reaction she at first blamed on shock and nerves
Homer was at his son’s first birthday but he didn’t show up to his second and Lamberto says the visits have been sparse and father and son have not seen each other for seven months
‘But that’s ok because I just want Rocco to know his dad. I want him to know his family, and I want my son to be loved.
‘That’s all I ever asked for.’
The final straw came seven months ago when Riverside County waded in, demanding that she apply for child support for Rocco and threatening to yank his state-funded medical insurance if she did not.
The county then sued Laffoon for payments of $1,013-a-month, based on his $5,514 monthly salary – sending the notice to his workplace.
That sparked a family meeting where Lamberto claims things turned ‘nasty’ with Laffoon furious at being outed as a parent to colleagues, while his own father was livid at the thought of his son being exposed as a deadbeat dad.
‘They’re like: He’s young, he’s just getting on track with his career and it’s not fair”. And I’m like, well, it’s not fair for me either. It’s not fair for Rocco.’
‘It makes me so sad for Rocco. Just be a dad to our son,’ said Lamberto. ‘That’s all I want.’
She added: ‘They wanted to have Homer just provide medical insurance. Then Homer’s dad said: “Well, if you go through with filing this child support, this is going to make Homer look like a deadbeat.
‘”This is going to get out to the public that he’s getting sued for child support and he’s going to look like a deadbeat”.
‘I’m like, well, that’s what he’s being. That’s what he is. I’m sorry. That’s the truth. He is being a deadbeat dad.
‘Broken promises and canceling last minute visits and never responding to text messages or calls. I haven’t heard from him in months. Nothing at all.’
Coley Laffoon also did not respond to a request for comment.
Lamberto said she is going public in the hopes that Laffoon will be jolted into having some sort of relationship with Rocco and step up to the plate in terms of contributing to his son’s care.
‘I never wanted any of this,’ she told the Daily Mail. ‘I never wanted it to be like this. I never wanted problems with Rocco’s family.
‘I wanted just it to be very simple. It shouldn’t have had to have been this complicated.’
She added: ‘It’s not fair for Rocco. It has nothing to do with me. If you don’t like me or if you don’t want to talk or communicate with me, that’s fine. Just be a dad for Rocco, he deserves that.
