Hollywood A-Listers Pay $50k to Cure Nepo-Babies with My ‘Rewiring’ Method

Hollywood A-Listers Pay k to Cure Nepo-Babies with My ‘Rewiring’ Method

Kimberly Friedmutter calls herself a hypnotherapist – but the eight secret billionaire families and the celebrities on her client list who come to this $6million zen sanctuary in the hills above Las Vegas for a five-day ‘rewire’ keep her on retainer as a kind of global fixer.

Troubled children of the superrich who have lost their way with substance abuse and other addictions are sent to Friedmutter, 62, for her five-day intensive that involves ‘downloading’ their issues and reconfiguring their subconscious as if she’s updating a toxic operating system.

‘Parents are sending them in droves,’ she told the Daily Mail. ‘They come in after months of using ketamine, Xanax and THC vapes. They do five days and leave without the substances and alcohol. That’s the goal.’

Celebrities ranging from Jackie Siegel, the so-called ‘Queen of Versailles,’ and David Hasselhoff to Clayton Echerd, the star of season 26 of The Bachelor, among many others she can’t name for confidentiality reasons, also make the pilgrimage to the desert because, as Friedmutter says, ‘believe it or not they have the same problems of a lot of us.’

Her big-name celebrity supporters include Sharon Stone, Jennifer Hudson, Martha Stewart, Mike Tyson, Quincy Jones, George Lopez and two time World Series of Poker champion Jennifer Harman.

Her pitch is simple and fast: five days, no medication, minimal talk — and a promise of change. She charges $2,000 an hour or $50,000 for her five-day intensive.

‘Hypnotherapy sets aside the critical mind so the subconscious can be rewired,’ Friedmutter told Daily Mail. ‘I treat the person, not the problem.’

She is the author of the 2019 book, ‘Subconscious Power: Use Your Inner Mind to Create the Life You’ve Always Wanted’ and has been seen on reality shows like Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

But Friedmutter’s work goes far beyond lulling people into a trance on the zero gravity chair in the lavish 15,000-square-foot estate called ‘Shangri-Las Vegas’ that she shares with her third husband, well-known architect Brad Friedmutter, who’s designed some of the biggest casinos in the world.

Friedmutter’s eight billionaire families – one of which is the Siegel family – call upon her at any time of day or night for help from anywhere in the world with crises both personal and professional.

Friedmutter says all the heads of the wealthy families she works with are self-made men and women who hire her to work across generations, from high-performing executives to struggling relatives.

‘Some sessions happen with the family’s medical doctor in the room,’ she said.

‘I’m brought in to treat everyone — the granddaughter, the rogue uncle — because they can’t afford turnover or public drama.’

She told Daily Mail about at least two recent situations in which two different families suspected that the patriarchs were being poisoned via some sort of food, drink, or supplements.

Friedmutter said she didn’t know what kind of poison was allegedly used — only that she was part of the confidential response.

Because her work can get complicated and veer into sometimes dangerous territory, Friedmutter has her own stable of private investigators and attorneys she can call on when a crisis among her high net worth clients might involve things of a suspicious nature.

But her job just as often entails becoming as close to her wealthy clientele as an actual family member.

Jackie Siegel, 59, best known as the subject of the 2012 documentary, ‘The Queen of Versailles,’ about the massive home she and her late billionaire timeshare magnate husband David Siegel built in Florida, began working with Friedmutter 15 years ago.

Over time, Siegel said, Friedmutter has gone from professional contact to ‘mentor, sister, guardian angel’ – and proved invaluable as Siegel navigated the 2015 fatal drug overdose of her then 18-year-old daughter Victoria in 2015, the death of her 89-year-old husband in April 2025 and the drug overdose of her sister, Jessica Mallery, 43, three days after David’s death.

‘I keep her on speed dial,’ Siegel told Daily Mail. ‘She’s been there every step of the way from when we lost our daughter to when I lost my husband and sister the year.

‘She keeps me strong. She’s like a magnet. She unites people and she creates solutions that help you get through the worst things that can happen.’

But Friedmutter’s calling card remains her five day intensive. Clients check in daily, typically starting at 10am and ending in late afternoon. It usually works out to be about 25 hours in total.

‘It’s like walking out of a cave,’ she said. ‘I have the map and the flashlight, but you’re the one walking.’

She says she guarantees results to families — a confidence, she adds, that comes from picking cases carefully and staying in touch with weekly follow-ups she calls ‘downloads.’

Daily Mail was invited to observe Friedmutter’s session with Echerd, who reached out to her for help in overcoming the trauma he endured as a result of being falsely accused of impregnating a woman in 2023

Clayton Echerd of ‘The Bachelor’ fame arrived one day last week when Daily Mail was there to observe some of Friedmutter’s process.

Echerd, 32, who now works as a real estate broker in Scottsdale, Arizona, went through a public nightmare beginning in 2023 when an Arizona woman, Laura Owens, lied about being pregnant with his baby after a one-night stand in which she admitted they never had actual intercourse.

Echerd’s name was cleared when Owens was indicted on seven felony counts of fraud, perjury, and forgery in May in a case involving at least two other men and she will go on trial early next year.

Echerd told the Daily Mail the trauma he endured as a result of the false accusations was one reason he reached out to Friedmutter for help as he plans to resume his side career as a mental health advocate and public speaker.

‘Clayton wants to be seen as a serious person. I want to look at any of his self-sabotaging behaviors and lock in better behaviors,’ said Friedmutter.

‘Clayton is ready to launch. He’s hungry for it. I’m going to get him there.’

Friedmutter said one of her most successful clients that will allow her to go public is ‘Baywatch’ star David Hasselhoff who struggled with alcoholism for years.

She said part of his change involved separating himself from ‘The Hoff,’ the hard-party persona he created.

‘There were three of us in the room — David, the Hoff, and me,’ she said. ‘We had to split the character from the man.’

Friedmutter has firsthand knowledge of the kind of trauma she sees in her clients.

As a child in San Antonio Texas, her schoolteacher mother was physically abusive – often coming into Kimberly’s room at night and choking her.

‘My mother, as lovely as she was, and as hard as she tried, you know, to get me on my way was extremely abusive,’ Friedmutter said.

Friedmutter's first marriage was to Charles Vallow from 1985 to 1987

Charles went on to marry second wife Lori Vallow, who was convicted of his murder in 2019

Friedmutter’s first marriage was in 1985 to 1987 to Charles Vallow (left) who was later murdered by his second ex-wife Lori Vallow (right) in 2019

‘I mean, abuses that nobody should see or endure, and physical, mental, all of it. She would choke me in the night like just about every night.’

Her mother, though, helped her get her start in modeling by pushing her to move to Manhattan at the age of 14 where she joined the Ford modeling agency.

She was then sent overseas where she said she lived on her own with other young models in various apartments in places like Paris, Milan and Hamburg, Germany.

Her first husband, who she married at age 19 in Texas, was Charles Vallow, who was later killed as part of the Vallow–Daybell doomsday murders in 2019.

Charles Vallow later married Lori Vallow Daybell who was convicted of conspiring to kill him earlier this year.

Friedmutter eventually wound up in LA where she worked as a TV and film actress before segueing into talk radio and found her way into neurolinguistic programming and hypnosis to help her deal with her anxiety with public speaking and performing.

She chose to remain childless, she said, because she feared how she would do as a mother because of being abused herself by her mom.

She said she’s found true happiness with her current husband Brad, whose design of Vegas’ Cosmopolitan Hotel can be seen in the distance from poolside at ‘Shangri-Vegas.’

Friedmutter uses a lot of neuro-linguistics in her practice which involves listening to how clients describe their problems so she can locate the ‘build’ of a habit. Then she scripts new language, rehearses it in trance and waking states, and pairs it with movement and touch.

But Friedmutter says not everyone qualifies to be her client.

‘If someone’s lying in the interview or chasing therapists to prove they’re ‘unfixable,’ I say, ‘not right now.’
