I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! certainly didn’t hold back on its first episode of the season as it kicked off with a show shake-up minutes into the show.
Nick Prickard was thrown straight into the deep end as he was smothered with dozens of spiders crawling over his face and body in his first challenge.
The Hollyoaks actor, 48, faced the Temple Of Doom alongside Marvin Humes, 38, and Jamie Lynn Spears, 32, on Sunday night.
As part of the challenge the trio were each trapped in boxes but Nick was unable to use his arms as they were strapped in.
While creepy crawlies and huge tarantulas crawled all over him, he had to use his mouth to grab the star which dangled over his face.

Marvin and Jamie Lynn were covered in biting green ants while having to solve riddles and puzzles to win stars.
And if that wasn’t enough for the trio on the first day in the jungle, all three of them had to face a harrowing sky dive prior to their trial.
Having just met for the first time Jamie Lynn, Marvin and Nick learned they would have to face a skydive before heading off to do the very first Trial of the series.
Nick confessed: ‘I had no idea when I woke up this morning I’d be skydiving with Britney Spears’s sister. I mean, come on… I don’t think she’s looking forward to it too much. I think she’s a bit apprehensive, as is Marvin.’
Marvin added: ‘100% skydiving is the worst thing you could throw at me. I’ll be thinking about my children and my wife the whole time…. Fingers crossed it’s all going to be alright.’
Jamie Lynn quipped: ‘What’s the worst that could happen? Just kidding, a lot of really bad things could happen…’
Marvin admitted: ‘I am going to be terrified, petrified… all of the ‘ifieds.’
But despite their nerves, there was jubilation once they’d each done it.

Thrilled he managed to jump, Marvin said: ‘Un-bloody-believable mate. That makes you feel alive. I was scared about nothing. Wow. I can’t believe it, we’ve done it. I never wanted to do it and I’ve done it. To conquer that fear of heights! I think my kids will be super proud.’
It comes as Nigel Farage has already been covered in gunge for his first I’m A Celebrity Bushtucker trial.
The ex-UKIP leader, 59, was seen sporting a pair of goggles while being submerged in filthy barrels of mud and muck.
It is his first gruelling trial in the jungle challenge show – which is set to kick off on ITV tonight as the celebrities enter camp for the first time.
Farage joined YouTuber Nella Rose and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson for a desert-based task after he was given immunity from the skydiving challenge .
His past injuries have led to speculation he would be exempt from many of the show’s Bushtucker trials.

Nigel’s pink shirt was splattered with splotches of mud as he and Nella hunted through the dirt.
Revealing his limitations in the jungle beforehand, Nigel told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Well, anything involving weight lifting, I’d be out because I’ve obviously had some quite serious physical injuries and neck reconstructions and goodness knows what else.’
Instead of jumping out of the plane like campmates have in previous years, Nigel was sent to take part in the desert challenge with Josie and Nella.
