Holly Willoughby stunned This Morning fans on Wednesday after returning to the show for a celebrity interview, albeit in a pre-recorded segment. 

Willoughby relinquished her role as host of the daytime flagship in October after an alleged plot to kidnap and murder the mother-of-three resulted in the arrest of a man from Harlow, Essex. 

But she was back on ITV1 for the first time since stepping down as This Morning aired a festive compilation of clips from the last 12-months.
