Holly Hagan has shared an emotional ‘life update’ as she navigates her grief following the death of her sister Darci at the age of 19.
Darci’s death was announced by Holly last month and police later confirmed that she had fallen ‘seriously ill’, when she was believed to have taken drugs.
Holly said at the time that her family had been ‘traumatized in every sense of the word’ as they struggled to come to terms with their loss.
Two days after Darci’s funeral, Holly posted a video on TikTok, admitting in the caption:Â ‘I wasn’t sure whether to share or not as honestly this is such a vulnerable time and I’m not really someone who sits and cries to the camera usually but this is the reality of where I’m at right now.’Â
In the video Holly said: ‘It is and has been the toughest four weeks of our entire life.
‘I actually just don’t really know how to process this whole situation, and neither do my parents. I don’t think anybody realises how much this affects everybody in their lives.’

‘The amount of people that’s been affected by this is just absolutely mindblowing. Like, my world has stopped. Her parent’s world has stopped. We feel, like, stuck and then the world keeps spinning.’
Holly broke down as she admitted:Â ‘I probably shouldn’t have tried to do this video just before I was going to go out.
‘Usually in the day I can take my mind off it and do other things, it does mean I can be in a different mode other than just sitting and letting myself think about it.
‘But usually on a night that’s obviously when it’s really hard, really, really hard for everyone.’
She then explained that she didn’t know ‘how to come back’ to her social media accounts following the tragedy and was hoping she would be able to return to her work and ‘not speak about it.’Â
‘But tight now I feel like I’m weighted by lead,’ she admitted. ‘It feels like I’m just so heavy, everything is feeling like it’s ten times harder to do.’
‘I don’t want to make this some sort of grief account, I don’t want to make every video depressing and talking about it because I don’t feel ready to speak about everything yet, but one day I will.
‘Right now it’s just so fresh. You just never think that this is going to happen. Sorry guys, I did think I’d be able to hold it together, but clearly not.

‘This whole situation has felt incredibly surreal, I’ve felt like I’m in a film as these things only happen in films or in soaps and are over-dramatised but to have to live through it, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.’
On Tuesday Holly honoured her ‘forever friend’ following her funeral.
The former Geordie Shore star, 33, shared a photograph of Darci’s order of service on her Instagram Story, as she said: ‘I hope we did you proud’.
Paying tribute to her sister in the post, Holly wrote: ‘My sister, my forever friend. His auntie, his greatest gift. Now our guardian angel.’
Alongside the order of service image, Holly said: ‘I hope we did you proud today baby girl. We all miss and love you so much.’Â

Earlier this week, Holly took to Instagram to honour her sister Darci Rose, on what would have been her 20th birthday, weeks after her tragic death.
Sharing the words with her 4million followers, Holly wrote: ‘Happy 20th birthday baby girl… I hope you’re dancing up there singing Ella ayre [sic] on karaoke…Â
‘You had blossomed into such an incredible, beautiful young woman Darci, I’m so sorry this happened to you… I know you would want to be here celebrating too. We miss and love you more than you’ll ever know’.Â
In a heartbreaking statement, Holly revealed her half-sister Darci, with whom she shares mother Vicki but have different fathers, had passed away.Â
Taking to Instagram, the Geordie Shore star wrote: ‘It is with immeasurable grief and sadness that our baby girl, my baby sister Darci Rose passed away peacefully holding my hand surrounded by family & her best friends. She was never in any pain…
‘The last four days have been something I hope no family ever has to go through. We are traumatised in every sense of the word. One day we will share Darci’s story…

‘But for now I please ask that you do respect our privacy and allow us to process what has happened…
‘To the incredible ambulance crew, and everyone at Manchester royal infirmary ASE & ICU, thank you so much for giving my sister the absolute best chance…
‘Because of you all we have had the opportunity to hold her hand, stroke her hair and feel her heart beating for the last time. We will forever be grateful for the way you have looked after her and us throughout this unimaginable process…
‘Right now my job is to support my family in any way that I can to ensure they don’t have to worry about work / finances…
‘Any posts you see this month are pre recorded and scheduled ahead of time. I will be continuing to work so they do not have to…
‘Darci is so beautiful and she genuinely didn’t even realise it. I always told her she’d look better without the huge spider lashes but we all know what a hypocrite I was being since I wore 9 pairs at her age!’
Following Holly’s statement, Greater Manchester Police announced: ‘On Sunday 19 October 2025 we were called by hospital staff to the concern for welfare of a 19-year-old woman who had fallen seriously ill after it is believed she had taken drugs.
‘Sadly, the woman died in hospital Monday evening. Our thoughts remain with her family at this difficult time. Enquiries are ongoing.’Â

Holly continued: ‘She lived in Darci world, forgetting to turn lights off, didn’t know how to lock doors after coming in from a night out, leaving the freezer open so my mam came down to a puddle of defrosted food
‘She was the best aunty, Alpha-Jax adored her. She spent his whole birthday on the bouncy castle with AJ and alba, and that’s a memory I’ll cherish forever.
‘She wanted to go into social work, after finding a passion for helping children. And I just know she’s looking after all the babies up there.
‘I don’t know if I’m behaving in a way I assumed I would when grieving but I genuinely feel she has given me so much strength and is watching over us all as our guardian angel. We love you so much baby girl. Forever 19.’
