Hilary Duff stepped out wearing a stylish ensemble in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The 36-year-old former Disney star was outfitted in a figure-hugging, long-sleeved, black, crew neck dress.
The blonde entertainer added a long gray coat as she braved the rainy day in Southern California.
While on the move, Duff held her phone, which had a multicolor beaded strap, to her ear while chatting.
The outing comes as she continues to promote her children’s book My Little Sweet Boy.

Hilary, who hails from Texas, finished her sleek look with a pair of pointy toe black leather boots.
She accessorized her look with a gold chain link necklace that was adorned with multiple charms.
At one point, she carried a canned pink beverage in her nude manicured hand as she flashed her sparkling wedding ring.
The Lizzie McGuire alum wore her signature blonde locks loose and in a center part as they fell over her chest.
The multihyphenate’s book was published on November 7 and inspired by her son Luca Cruz, 11, who she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, she reflected on her recent trip to the Big Apple where she did press.
‘Just finally coming down off the high from my trip to NY to release my second children’s book MY LITTLE SWEET BOY!’ she wrote to her 26.7 million followers.
‘This book makes for a great gift or a sweet addition to your wind-down moments,’ she plugged.
The caption was finished: ‘Pick up your copy anywhere books are sold! As always, thank you for your love and support.’

While stopping by The Drew Barrymore Show recently, Duff explained what it was like penning her books.
‘I’m still not feeling like a writer but I do really enjoy writing,’ the How I Met Your Father star admitted.
‘It’s such a vulnerable place. And it’s hard to sit down and get into the zone and do it. Especially with motherhood, sitting down to write feels like a selfish moment,’ she said.
In addition to Luca, Hilary shares Banks, five, and Mae, two, with her husband Matthew Koma.
