Helen Skelton has shared an insight into her family holiday after jetting off after moving out of the marital home she shared with her ex-husband Richie Myler.

The TV presenter, 41, showcased her washboard stomach in a stylish string bikini as she larked about on the beach with her children on the sun-soaked trip.

Helen showcased her strength as she threw her son over her shoulder for the playful snap, which was posted alongside a gallery of other images.

The former Blue Peter star shares her three children Ernie, nine, Louis, seven, and two-year-old daughter Elsie with her ex Richie.

She was also joined by her parents Janet and Richard on the trip, as she shared photos from their getaway on her Instagram page.

Revealing she was having a blissful getaway, Helen posted the caption: ‘Deciding to forget what time it is.’

She also posted photos of her family playing in the pool and down at the beach.

Last month, Helen shared a glimpse inside her new home in Cumbria, following her split from Richie as she took to Instagram to share her emotional new chapter.

She split from England rugby star Richie, 34, in 2022 after eight years of marriage and their divorce was finalised in January.

The Strictly Come Dancing star moved back to her home town to live with her parents as she moves on from her divorce.

And as she documented her move, Helen took to Instagram to thank her father for helping in a gushing post.

She wrote: ‘The kind of granddad who spends days moving the entire contents of your life and still makes time for motorbikes and football.

In another post, she shared a picture of her son and joked: ‘Tell me you’re moving… without telling me you’re moving…. Me: which pair are going to charity shop? Him: neither we NEED them both.’

Last month, Helen posted an emotional video to Instagram where she revealed she has sold their Yorkshire property. 

In a video that featured a fox in the garden, she said: ‘Hello, you. I know it doesn’t feel that long ago I can remember the sound of foxes mating in those trees. Now we’ve got a little friend. Bye then! Saying bye to the house.’ 

She wrote in the caption of the post: ‘One last goodbye old friend.’ 

The sprawling property is made up of two interconnecting homes which comprise eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, four reception rooms, an annex and an outdoor heated pool.

The former couple spent a combined £1.1million purchasing the two adjoining properties set in an exclusive gated community.

The news comes shortly after the former Strictly Come Dancing star insisted that parents should never be shamed into being perfect or acting a certain way, claiming it’s simply a waste of energy.
