Helen Flanagan Lowers Mansion Price for Second Time Amid Financial Struggles

Desperate Helen Flanagan has been forced to reduce the price of her £1.5M mansion for a second time after just fourth months of being on the market.

The Corrie star, 34, who has admitted ‘really struggling financially’ has slashed a third of the price of the lavish home, which can now be snapped up for £995,000.

Helen first put the stunning six-bedroom family home, which she once shared with ex Scott Sinclair, up for sale in May, before reducing it to £1.195M just four weeks later.

Despite her hopes for a quick sale, the actress has now been forced to reduce the price even further with one buyer now able to purchase the home in a quaint village outside Bolton for a bargain.

After Helen and Scott, who share kids Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, purchased the home for £840,000 in June 2021, taxes and legal fees will see her barely breaking even.

The three-floored home, spans over 5,000 square feet, and according to the brochure, two of the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms.

After splitting from Scott, Helen claimed in a court appearance for a speeding offence that she was ‘really struggling financially’ after raking in over £1M from her TV and modelling career.

Despite claiming that she was broke to the courts in January and needed her car to ferry her three kids around, magistrates still banned her from driving for six months.

She said: ‘I’m a single mum, I live in the middle of the moors.’

She said her ‘job really is being a mum at home’ and she had ‘enough money in my account to pay off my tax and my VAT and basically that’s about it’ – later adding that she has ‘enough money to pay my taxes, pay the mortgage and for a bit of tea’

Helen first revealed she was would be selling the property in May on The Declutter Hub podcast with Ingrid Jansen and Lesley Spellman, insisting she was ‘down to earth’ but that moving would be hard.

She also revealed that despite the house already being on the market she doesn’t know where she will move to next – admitting London might be too expensive.

Helen co-parents kids Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, with ex Scott but is now in a relationship with new boyfriend Robbie Talbot who lives in Liverpool, where his two children are based.

She said of the future move: ‘We are selling the house now which will be nice to have a change. Because I was with Scott for so long I was used to moving house a lot (because he is a footballer) so it’s normal for me.

‘I could now never stay in one place for too long I don’t think. I like a change, I love it.’

She added: ‘It makes me sad that I am going to be leaving this house soon because I have put so much effort into it.

‘I put loads of my savings into making it look really beautiful. It’s eight bedrooms which is hard to keep on top of – it’s a lot.

‘When we move I will struggle to downsize – I don’t want to not sound down to earth. But it will feel weird. It will be more manageable for me.

‘I don’t know where I want to live next. I’ve always wanted to live in London but there is such a price difference there. But it would be amazing for work and I do want a change. It’s been a heavy few years for me so it will be a lovely fresh change.’

Despite her financial troubles Helen underwent a £500 cosmetic procedure earlier this week.

She took to Instagram to reveal how she had lip filler injected into her face as well as a procedure involving fish sperm.

Helen shared a clip following the treatments where she praised her doctor as she detailed what she had done.

The mum-of-three said: ‘So I have just come in for my second treatment with Natalie. I only go to doctor Natalie for my face, she’s amazing.

‘You’ve got to be very careful with your face so I always get my Botox with Natalie. I don’t have anything in my bottom lip but I do have filler in my top lip but not have it done.

‘I always ask her if I can have some and she’s like “no, no, you don’t need anything!” but yeah I just go to her for my Botox.’

The Coronation Street actress also revealed she had a second treatment for her under eye area after noticing wrinkles.

Explaining the procedure, she wrote: ‘Polynucleotides are an injectable skin treatment designed to improve the delicate under-eye area using extracts of salmon sperm.

‘They work by stimulating repair at a cellular level, helping to improve skin quality, hydration, and overall brightness.

‘You’ll notice a refreshed, less tired appearance as the skin becomes smoother and more resilient.

‘For best results, we recommend a course of 3 treatments, spaced a few weeks apart, to achieve gradual natural improvements.’

In the UK, polynucleotide treatments generally cost roughly between £200 and £500 per single session, though this varies based on clinics.
