Helen Flanagan got back to work at the first day rehearsals for a play in Bolton on Monday after spending Christmas apart from her three kids amid a bitter co-parenting row with ex Scott Sinclair.

The former Coronation Street actress, 35, who will play Catherine in The Memory Of Water at The Bolton Octagon, went make-up free as she headed to the stage door.

Cutting a casual figure in black, Helen wore a knitted sweater and leather skirt while toting her essentials in an oversized fluffy bag.

The soap star scraped back her blonde locks and sipped on a take away coffee before joining her fellow actors in the rehearsal room.

She will star in the comedy as one of three sisters reunited ahead of their mother’s funeral, alongside fellow Corrie actress Vicky Binns, who played Molly Dobbs.

Helen shares Matilda, 10, and Delilah, seven, along with son Charlie, four, with ex-fiancé Scott.

The actress found the festive period difficult as she spent Christmas apart from her three children after claiming the former football failed to turn up to their son’s nativity.

Scott shared a glimpse into Christmas with their children, with one of his posts seeing the proud dad stands with all three kids in a forest setting as they beam for the camera.

He simply captioned the post: ‘Peace and happiness’. The family also enjoyed a festive trip to an ice rink, lacing up their skates for some seasonal fun.

Early last month, Helen launched a furious attack on her ex-partner Scott after he failed to attend their son’s school nativity.

The soap star split from the Bristol Rovers footballer in 2022 following 13 years together.

Helen publicly criticised Scott after he shared posts from Abu Dhabi, where he spent the weekend attending the Grand Prix.

Re-sharing his Instagram post, Helen raged: ‘You really are a piece of s***.

‘How dare you not turn up to Charlie’s nativity.’

Scott had posted photos a series of snaps from his trip where he watched Lando Norris secure his maiden Drivers’ Championship title.

‘What a weekend-Abu Dhabi F1,’ Scott wrote. He added: ‘Happy Days, blurry nights..’

Meanwhile, Helen shared a sweet photo of herself cuddling their son, captioning it: ‘Loved Charlie’s nativity. My star, my heartbeat.’

The Daily Mail contacted Scott’s representative for comment at the time.

But an insider later claimed the real reason for Helen’s fury was because Scott has been embracing his ‘Hot Boy Winter’ moment after his split from girlfriend Lauren Davies, 32.

As Scott enjoys himself, attending the likes of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Helen has been balancing working full time in panto and family life.

But to really make matters worse for Helen, it is reportedly Scott’s year to have their three children for Christmas this year leaving her furious as he continues to ‘pick and choose’ when he has them.

A source told The Sun: ‘Ever since Scott became single again things started to go downhill. It’s been an incredibly testing few months for Helen, who feels like she is busting a gut and Scott doesn’t seem to get it.

‘To make matters worse he is having the children for Christmas this year, which is another blow.’

Meanwhile another source added: ‘Helen’s livid with Scott’s behaviour. He’s thinking about himself, not his children. At the end of the day Helen is the mother of his kids. He needs to show more respect.
