It was announced that America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League was in development this past September.
At the time, it was revealed that Cowell, Klum and Mandel, all of whom currently serve as judges on America’s Got Talent, would remain in the same capacity for the spinoff.
Crews will also serve as the host of the program, and Mel B, who acted as a judge for several seasons of the original show, is set to return for the spinoff.
According to People, America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League will see the show’s judges building a team made up of contestants from previous seasons of America’s Got Talent.
The acts will then compete against each other for the title of AGT: Fantasy League champion and $250,000.
