Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills looked completely smitten with her partner Mick Dickman at The Flying Dutchman premiere in Vienna on Wednesday.

The former model, 57, made a rare public appearance with the actor and producer, 39, at St.Margarethen Quarry.

The vegan activist exuded glamour in a glitzy black and gold jumpsuit which she teamed with statement sunglasses.

Mick, who worked previously as a financer and sports executive, cut a casual display in a khaki green jacket and trousers.

The couple, who were first linked in 2019, appeared to be going from strength to strength.

Their love story began when Heather sent him flirty messages on a train journey between Kent and London.

The Mail On Sunday reported at the time that Heather slipped the film producer her business card and also a note saying: ‘I think you’re hot. Email me.’

A source said: ‘Mike was sitting on his own having had a long, boozy lunch and Heather was sitting next to him playing a card game with her daughter Beatrice.

‘Heather kept eyeing him up and just before the journey ended at London Bridge, she passed him a series of notes when her daughter wasn’t looking. One said, ‘I think you’re hot. Email me.’

Mike and Heather are said to have exchanged commitment rings just before Christmas 2024, but are reportedly not married or officially engaged.

Their symbol of commitment came 13 years after her well-publicised divorce battle with Sir Paul, 81.

Heather’s boyfriend Mike viewed the exchange of commitment rings as an ‘informal engagement’ and the pair are in no hurry to get married, it was claimed.

A source told The Sun: ‘Heather and Mike are incredibly happy. It’s so good to see a smile on her face again after a turbulent few years.

‘They’re completely in love. Heather has told pals he’s the love of her life whilst, for his part, Mike adores her and is completely devoted.

‘Heather’s incredibly young at heart, and gets on with all his mates — their 17-year age gap really isn’t an issue.’

Heather split from Beatles legend Sir Paul in 2006, after four years of marriage and they share daughter Beatrice Milly McCartney, now 21.

After her split, Heather sought a £125million settlement. But a High Court judge awarded her just a fifth of that sum – £24.3 million which she said she was ‘very, very pleased with’.

She was also awarded payments of £35,000 per annum, for a nanny and school costs for their daughter Beatrice.

Mr Justice Bennett labelled her a ‘less than impressive witness’, who had exaggerated the extent of her wealth before she met the former Beatle.

The activist had her leg amputated after a car accident in 1993 and was then diagnosed with Lyme disease after she returned from a mission in Cambodia with Katharine, Duchess of Kent in 1999.

Heather previously revealed that she was forced to ‘live off liquid food for three years’ after contracting Lyme Disease.

The illness left her with a ‘burst appendix’ and ‘always in agony’ after the removal of her gallbladder.

She has long since credited her strict vegan diet for saving her life

WHAT IS LYME DISEASE?

Lyme disease is caused by a bacteria that is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected black-legged ticks.

The most common symptoms of the disease are fever, headache, fatigue and a skin rash called erythema migrans.

The disease can typically be treated by several weeks of oral antibiotics.

But if left untreated, the infection can spread to the joints, heart and nervous symptoms and be deadly.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE INFECTED?

During the first three to 30 days of infection, these symptoms may occur:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle and joint aches
  • Swollen lymph nodes
  • Erythema migrans (EM) rash

The rash occurs in approximately 80 per cent of infected people.

It can expand to up to 12 inches (30 cm), eventually clearing and giving off the appearance of a target or a ‘bull’s-eye’.

Later symptoms of Lyme disease include:

  • Severe headaches and neck stiffness
  • Additional rashes
  • Arthritis with joint pain and swelling
  • Facial or Bell’s palsy
  • Heart palpitations
  • Problems with short-term memory
  • Nerve pain
