Heather Dubrow Denies Calling Paparazzi, Clashes with Katie Ginella

Heather Dubrow swore on the lives of her children that she did not call the paparazzi for self-promotion while clashing with Katie Ginella on Thursday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of Orange County.

The season eight episode titled ‘Not My Cup of Tee’ featured franchise newcomer Katie, 40, taking on Heather, 55, a Bravo veteran who first appeared on RHOC on season seven in 2012.

Katie earlier in the episode told Emily Simpson, 48, that she had proof that Heather regularly contacts the paparazzi, which Heather has vehemently denied in the past.

‘A friend of mine runs all the paparazzi photos. She called my friend and said, ”I’m going to be here.” On top of some other things that have been going on, I’m kind of like, you know, are you telling the truth? Are you not telling the truth?,’ Katie said.

Tamra Judge, 56, previously had accused Heather of staging photos at Disneyland with her husband Terry and was thrilled to hear Katie’s dive bar story about Heather.

Katie organized a golf event that Emily won, but the real action involved Heather and Katie.

Tamra forced the matter by telling Heather about the resurfaced paparazzi claims being made by Katie.

‘We went out the other night. Katie had said some things about you that are a little concerning. She says that you call the paparazzi, and you tell them where you’re at all the time. And she has proof of it,’ Tamra said.

‘Good. Bring the proof,’ Heather said clearly agitated.

Katie asked to speak with Heather privately and they were given some space.

‘I wanted to talk because I feel like there’s, like, this weird looming thing between you and I,’ Katie said.

‘Well, we didn’t have a weird looming thing, except all I know is that you’re talking to all my friends about me and saying that I’m calling the paparazzi, and you have all this proof, and I’m talking to people about you. And there’s a lot of untruths here,’ Heather said.

Katie gave her perspective and repeated a story about feeling slighted by Heather at Sutton Stracke’s Christmas party.

‘You know, it started with Sutton’s Christmas party. Gina [Kirschenheiter] had told me that she called you and Terry. You guys kind of, like, went through me and Matt’s Instagram. And so we saw you at Sutton’s Christ
mas party. You turned around, and you stared at Matt and I. And then you turned back around,’ Katie said.

‘Oh, my God. You expected me to see you in a line after looking at your Instagram and recognize you? I have no recollection,’ Heather said in defense.

Katie then brought up the paparazzi issue and Heather asked to see the proof.

‘I have a screenshot of the text,’ Katie said.

‘I’m going to tell you something. I have never called paparazzi in my life,’ Heather declared while visibly angry.

She denied alerting the paparazzi again and Katie wondered if her friend lied.

‘On the lives of my children, I have never called a paparazzi,’ Heather dramatically said.

The other women overheard and were shocked to see Heather so worked up.

‘This is literally exactly what I didn’t want to happen. And I feel, at this point, I should just duck and cover,’ Gina said.

Heather questioned the validity of Katie’s proof before accusing her of being the one digging up information.

‘When you come into a friend group… What would be really great is to make friends and just try to meet people and understand them for who they are,’ Heather said.

She also accused Katie of ‘making a mountain out of a molehill’.

‘I don’t even know you, Katie. But now I don’t know that I want to,’ Heather said.

The drama while intense for Heather and Katie was a source of entertainment for the others who previously have tried to challenge Heather.

‘I think we’ll be going to Katie’s funeral pretty soon,’ Tamra quipped.

The episode also featured an appearance by former RHOC main cast member Vicki Gunvalson, 62, who caught up with Shannon Beador, 60.

They were both disappointed with Tamra leaving their Tres Amigas show.

Shannon also revealed that her ex-boyfriend John Janssen was seeking money from her.

‘I got a letter from a lawyer representing John Janssen and that I owe him $75,000,’ Shannon said.

Vicki was shocked and reminded Shannon of all she did to support him.

The episode also showed Emily organizing a girls night out for Gina to a dive bar.

Katie at the bar revealed she has information about Heather allegedly calling paparazzi for herself.

‘There was, like, a little bit of bad press around Heather and Terry. I texted it to my friend. He’s in charge of all these paparazzi photographers. I said, is this true? Did she hire photographers to come take a photo of her? He said, yes,’ Katie said.

Tamra admitted to feeling a ‘little vindicated’ after the Disneyland incident involving Heather and raised her arms victoriously at the bar.
