In June, Mason proudly shared a video of Charlie helping her unbox a Margarita tasting kit that was set to be put into action at their wedding reception.
‘The best part of planning a wedding… doing the Margarita tastings,’ she captioned the post.
Liubinskas, who is the son of former Wests Suburbs and Balmain rugby league player Mick Liubinskas, was recently approached by Married At First Sight producers to star on the hit reality show for singles.
Show-runners were apparently unaware he was engaged Mason.
An amused Liubinskas told Daily Mail Australia at the time: ‘Lol… I shut it down pretty quickly.’
