Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz: A Look Back at Their Colorful Romance

There’s a new Hollywood power couple on the scene: Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles.

The hot pair have been spotted holding hands on several cosy NYC dates this month and One Direction star Harry, 31, has even met 36-year-old Zoe’s famous father Lenny. 

Both have had colourful love lives over the years, with Harry dating a string of beautiful women including actress Taylor Russell, model Emily Ratajkowski, Olivia Wilde and of course Taylor Swift.

Meanwhile actress Zoe most recently dated heartthrob Channing Tatum after her marriage to Karl Glusman ended. She was previously linked to the likes of Drake, Penn Badgley and Chris Pine.

But between the pairs’ extensive dating histories there are some overlaps as both Harry and Zoe have had their pick from the same elite celebrity pool over the years. 

Harry has dated a fair few of Zoe’s friends including Taylor Swift, Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner.

While Zoe’s most recent rumoured flame Austin Butler is now dating Emily Ratajkowski who Harry was famously seen locking lips with in March 2023.

Meanwhile plenty of Harry flings with models have links as the likes of Victoria’s Secret flames Emily, Kendall, Sara Sampaio and Georgia Fowler all mix in the same industry circles and are pals.

Harry Styles’ love life: 

Zoe Kravitz – present 

Zoë and Harry took their blossoming romance to a new level last Saturday as they enjoyed lunch with her rock legend dad Lenny.

Proving things to be serious, the couple held hands while heading into Sant Ambroeus in NYC’s West Village for lunch. 

Zoë’s love life has been as widely-discussed as her career, with her new romance with Harry hitting headlines thanks to their cosy appearances. 

Last week, the One Direction star was seen walking with Zoë in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, amid widespread reports about their romance.

On the burgeoning union, insiders told Page Six: ‘It’s so hard to date as a celebrity… Harry wouldn’t have gone public with Zoë if it wasn’t anything…

‘It’s very new and fresh and they’re just having fun. Harry doesn’t label this stuff. This is the happiest Harry has ever been, he’s just having a great time.’

It comes after the Daily Mail revealed pals close to the burgeoning couple say they are ‘kidding themselves’ if they think it’s just an innocent fling, and exclusive pictures certainly prove they’re very much in sync with one another.  

Whispers may call them ‘friends with benefits’, but globe-trotting dates and earlier snaps tell a different story and insiders say things are moving fast – points only exacerbated further by the meeting with Lenny.

‘This is brewing into something more whether they think it is or not,’ the source revealed. They both like each other and friends don’t know who likes each other more but it is turning into something more than just a casual situation.

‘They might not want to think it is, but surprise surprise, it is getting interesting.’

The insider added that Harry and Zoe may be growing more serious as they reach an age where playing casual is no longer appealing.

‘Even with the lack of labels, or labels that aren’t official boyfriend and girlfriend status, they are just kidding themselves, their friends see this could be something special and if they want to make it into that, they should. No reason to play games.’

Reports of bistro kisses and romantic Rome walks have sent Harry’s loyal fans into meltdown mode, not least because of Zoe’s connection to Harry’s most famous ex Taylor Swift. 

Swifties have accused her close pal Zoe of breaking ‘girl code’ after Harry and Taylor, who is currently dating NFL star Travis Kelce, previously enjoyed a three month fling between 2012 and 2013, before splitting following an ‘almighty row’. 

Zoe meanwhile has been a close friend of Taylor’s since 2016, only recently sharing a story on Late Night with Seth Meyers about staying at Taylor’s LA home with her mother, Lisa Bonet, during the LA wildfires at the start of the year.

But Taylor isn’t Harry and Zoe’s only connection, with the new lovebirds moving in similar friendship circles for a decade.

In fact Zoe is close pals with another of Harry’s rumoured exes, British model and actress Cara Delevingne, who was linked to the pop star in 2013. 

Kendall Jenner, who romanced Harry in 2013 and again in 2015, is also a regular party pal of Zoe’s. The actress attended the model’s 2023 Halloween party with her then-fiancé Channing Tatum and is regularly seen at the same fashion bashes.

It was way back in 2014, around the time Harry was linked to Cara and Kendall, that Zoe was first spotted with the 1D star, attending the same Coldplay concert.  

Whilst Harry was there with a mystery girl and Zoe was with her former flame Chris Pine, the group all sat in the same VIP area.

Fast forward to 2020 and Harry proved he was an online friend of Zoe’s at least, hitting like on one of her Instagram posts, with the singer still following the actress, although she doesn’t follow him back. 

Ella Kenny – June 2025 

 

Earlier this summer Harry was linked to producer Ella Kenny after they were seen passionately snogging in the VIP area of Glastonbury Festival.

The star arrived at Worthy Farm on the Saturday of the festival with pals as he settled in for a day of celebrating music.

But as he partied into the early hours, Harry was seen getting very close to a woman in the VIP area. 

In a video seen by The Sun, Harry was seen sharing an intimate kiss with the woman on the dance floor, with an onlooker claiming the pair were ‘inseparable’.

It was then revealed that the woman was in fact stunning producer Ella who has worked at a studio in London for around three years.

The Bournemouth University graduate Ella works at a studio producing ‘crossplatform content’ for businesses such as record companies and fashion brands.

A source said: ‘Harry and Ella had fun together at Glastonbury and shared a kiss on the dancefloor.

‘They had a good time in the moment but it doesn’t mean it will evolve into anything. They just got on and had a snog. 

‘But she seems like a normal, down-to-earth girl which is different from some of the big stars he’s dated before.’

They weren’t seen together again after the festival. 

Emily Ratajkowski – March 2023 

Before Ella, Harry’s last public smooch was with supermodel Emily Ratajkowski when they were spotted snogging in Tokyo in 2023. 

The pair were seen dancing with each other in the Japanese capital as they stood alongside a silver people carrier while sheltering from the rain under an umbrella.

They shared a number of passionate kisses on the street outside, appearing not to care who saw them while in full view of onlookers.

The moment went viral at the time but after that they were never seen on a date again. 

Emily is now reported to be dating actor Austin Butler, who Zoe was also linked to this year. 

Austin and Emily were seen grabbing cocktails together while nestled in a booth at the West Village nightspot, the Waverly Inn recently.

Under the sultrily dim lighting and the beloved murals by Edward Sorel, Emily and Austin seemed enraptured with each other’s company, with him flinging an arm along the back of the booth behind her, in an image obtained by TMZ.

And Emily is linked to another of Harry’s exes Kendall Jenner. 

Emily and Kendall are regularly snapped together at event and have worked on some of the same modelling jobs. 

Taylor Russell – 2023 to 2024 

Last year Harry was seen with Canadian actress and filmmaker Taylor Russell for the first time – three months after they were believed to have started their romance.

The couple called it quits in May 2024, with friends claiming the couple opted to end the relationship after spending time together in the East Asia. 

In 2025, reports suggested Taylor has since moved on to Michael B. Jordan after they were spotted out together.

Olivia Dean – 2024 

Olivia Dean was previously rumoured to be dating Harry last year.

Speculation surrounding the pair began in August, after they were spotted grabbing a burger together at Five Guys in London – just two months after he split from Taylor Russell.

A fan snapped several photos of Harry ordering a meal at the counter with Olivia stood beside him watching on, sending the rumour mill swirling

At the time, The Sun claimed the pair were getting to know each other privately, with an insider telling the publication: ‘Harry and Olivia have known each other for a while. 

‘They have loads in common with their music taste and are enjoying getting to know each other out of the spotlight.

‘Harry loves nothing more than cycling and trying out new food spots in the capital and Olivia is a London girl so knows all the best places.’

A month later and the two were seen together again, watching Sam Smith perform at the Kalorama music festival in Madrid, with Harry also spotted by an eagle-eyed fan leaving Olivia’s set at the festival.

The sightings got people talking, with social media soon rife with theories about whether the pair were dating.

Olivia Wilde – 2000 to 2022 

Harry and Olivia Wilde met in September 2020 when he was cast in her film, Don’t Worry Darling. At the time, Olivia was engaged to her partner of around a decade, Jason Sudeikis, with whom she shares two children.

Two months after Harry was cast in the movie, Wilde and Sudeikis announced their engagement had ended. At the time the announcement was made, a source claimed the pair had been separated since the beginning of 2020.

People reported the source said: ‘[The split has] been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship.’

As filming continued on set, Wilde heaped praise onto her lead actor in interviews, making note of his lack of ‘toxic masculinity’.

She said: ‘It’s pretty powerful and kind of extraordinary to see someone in his position redefining what it can mean to be a man with confidence.’

By January 2021, the couple were spotted out and about holding hands for the first time, as they dressed in all their finery to attend the wedding of Styles’ agent in Montecito, California.

The pair continued to date and grew closer over the next two years, with Styles reportedly meeting Wilde’s children as the relationship became more serious. 

But in November 2022, just a few months after Don’t Worry Darling premiered in cinemas, the couple announced they were ‘taking a break’ from their relationship. 

A source told People: ‘He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A It’s a very amicable decision.’

Camille Rowe

Harry and Victoria’s secret model Camille Rowe dated for around a year between the summer of 2017 and July 2018.

Although the pair never publicly confirmed their romance, they were reported to have met through their mutual friend, Alexa Chung.

After their romance came to light, Harry and Camille were spotted on a string of sightings together, including a sushi date.

The French beauty also turned out to lend her support at a slew of his concerts, including one which she attended with her mother Anne Twist.

Following the couple’s split, Harry hinted during a promotional tour for his album Fine Line that some of the tracks on the record had been inspired by the romance.

Some fans suggested one of the lines in the song Falling hinted that Styles had been unfaithful to Rowe, referring to the lyrics: ‘I’m in my bed and you’re not here. And there’s no one to blame but the drink and my wandering hands.’

In another song, dubbed Cherry, Harry appeared to mock Camille’s new love interest art collector Theo Niarchos, whose father Philip owns an extensive collection. 

Harry’s words on the song say: ”Don’t you call him ‘baby’, we’re not talking lately. Don’t you call him what you used to call me’, before adding: ‘Does he take you walking round his parents’ gallery?’

Tess Ward

Harry and food blogger Tess Ward reportedly shared a ‘whirlwind romance’ in 2017, with rumours of the romance flying when Taylor was spotted wearing what appeared to be Harry’s shirt.

Despite keeping their romance under wraps, it appeared to be over before it had even begun as the pair soon decided to spend time apart.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Harry and Tess haven’t seen each other for a number of weeks.’

The insider added: ‘Tess realised she still had feelings for her ex after splitting from him to date Harry and has apologised to him for her romance with the singer.

‘She was in London this week and met her ex straight away — they’ve been inseparable since’. 

Speaking to The Times during the time the pair were rumoured to be dating, Ward revealed she had been forced to delete several of her social media accounts, leaving her solely with Instagram, although she admitted she was beginning to resent that too.

She explained: ‘At the moment, I’m getting a lot of direct messages there, but I respectfully chose not to reply to them, because they’re all… interesting. I want a break!’

Dubbing the hate messages ‘very bizarre’, she reasoned: ‘I’m not the kind of person who’s interested in fame and if you’re put in an environment which you don’t understand and you can’t control and you don’t want, it’s horrible.’

Refusing to stoke the flames, when asked outright if she was dating Harry, Tess sighed: ‘I literally don’t have anything to say about that.’

Sara Sampaio

Harry was rumoured to be dating Victoria’s Secret model Sara Sampaio in 2015 after the pair were spotted partying in Manhattan one evening, and pictured saying goodbye outside Sampaio’s hotel.

However, The Sun reported at the time that the Portuguese model later returned to the hotel, and emerged again the next morning around 11am, wearing the same clothes as the night before. 

‘There was definitely chemistry there as they hugged and kissed each other when she left but everyone thinks something was up as she came back and they left so soon after each other the next morning,’ a source told the newspaper. 

‘Sara left at 11am dressed exactly the same. Then Harry walked out at 11.15am and it looked like he’d been partying pretty hard.’

Georgia Fowler 

Another Victoria’s Secret Angel rumoured to have shared a romance with Harry is New Zealand-born model Georgia Fowler.

Fowler first sparked romance rumours with the singer after posting a sweet photo on her Snapchat page of Harry playing Scrabble with her, while dressed in a hoodie.

Little is known about the couple’s reported romance as they remained tight-lipped in public about their relationship, however Georgia did her best to shut down rumours one of the songs on Harry’s debut solo album was about her.

After fans buzzed around the lyrics to the song ‘Kiwi’, she was asked on Australia’s The Morning Show if the tune was about her.

The song features the curious lyric: ‘I think she said ‘I’m having your baby, it’s none of your business’.’ 

Presenter Kylie Gillies asked: ‘Harry Styles, on his album has a song called ‘Kiwi’, can you confirm or deny that it was named after you?’

‘Ah, don’t really know anything about it,’ Georgia shook her head, after referring to Harry as a ‘friend’

She quickly added: ‘Definitely don’t have a baby… that’s what the song is all about.’

In another link in their intertwined love lives Georgia and Sara are pals from their modelling days. 

They have appeared in snaps together on their socials as fellow Angels and even publicly wish each other a happy birthday. 

Kendall Jenner

Another of Harry’s whirlwind romances was with supermodel and member of the Kardashian family, Kendall Jenner.

The pair reportedly got close when Harry was 21 and Kendall was 18, but the long-distance relationship did not last.

After about three months of dating, a source told The Sun the pair had called time on their relationship.

At the time, Harry had already had a string of high profile relationships, however Kendall had reportedly only been involved with her high school boyfriend Julian Brooks.

A source told The Sun the pair had separated so they could focus on work and that there were no hard feelings between them.

They said: ‘There’s been no major fallout. They’re definitely still friends ad haven’t ruled anything out in the future.’ 

Despite calling time on their romance in 2014, the pair were spotted getting cosy on a yacht in St Barts early in 2016 after ringing in the new year together.

Photos showed the pair nuzzling into each other as they lay out on the sun deck surrounded by friends, who just passed by and didn’t distract them from each other for a second. 

Shortly afterwards, the pair went their separate ways once again, but they appear to have remained friends as Kendall has been spotted at Harry’s concerts supporting her ex in recent years.

Taylor Swift

Between 2012 and 2013, Harry and singer Taylor Swift had a three month fling before the pair were reported to have split shortly after the new year following an ‘almighty row’.

Little more than a week after a very public display of affection on new year’s eve as the clock struck midnight to kick off 2013, a source confirmed to MailOnline that the pair had parted ways.

The source said: ‘Yes I can confirm they have split up. They were on holiday and had an almighty row. They are two young stars at the top of their game so who knows what will happen in the future.’

Taylor, who is known to write songs about past relationships, is thought to have penned at least three songs about Styles – I Knew You Were Trouble, Style and Out of The Woods.

In 2015, the singer revealed her whirlwind romance with Harry had been an experience filled with anxiety.

During a performance at the Grammy Museum, she introduced Out of the Woods by telling the audience about her anxiety-inducing relationship – although she didn’t mention Styles by name. 

‘I’m going to play you a song that I wrote about a relationship that I was in that the number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety,’ she explained as she sat at her piano.

‘Because it felt very fragile, it felt very tentative. And it always felt like, ‘Okay, what’s the next road block? What’s the next thing that’s gonna deter this? How long do we have before this turns into just an awful mess and we break up? Is it a month? Is it three days?”

Caroline Flack  

Late TV presenter Caroline Flack met Harry when he was a contestant with One Direction on The X Factor and she was host of spin-off show The Xtra Factor.

With a 15 year age gap, as Styles was 17 and Flack was in her early 30s at the time, the couple saw their romance come under harsh criticism from outsiders which no doubt added to the decision to call time on their relationship after only three months. 

However, the pair only ever had good things to say about each other and defended their romance in the face of criticism.

Following their split, the pair remained full of praise for each other, with Styles pouring cold water on rumours about the break up on Twitter.

He wrote: He tweeted: ‘Please know I didn’t ‘dump’ Caroline. This was a mutual decision. She is one of the kindest, sweetest people I know.’

Caroline Flack sadly passed away in February 2020 after taking her own life. 

Zoe Kravitz’s love life

Austin Butler 

Zoe and Austin Butler were busily promoting their new movie Caught Stealing this summer and at the time ignited a blaze of romance rumors with their flirty interactions during the publicity rounds.

They continued to fuel romance rumors with a flirty exchange at the New York premiere of Caught Stealing.

Attending the premiere at the Regal Union Square, Austin placed a hand upon Zoe’s bare waist as he leaned down to chat with her. 

Zoe placed a friendly hand on his arm and cast a smile at him, her sculpted abs on full display in quite the smoldering ensemble.

The pair were at the center of romance rumors for some time, and in summer they sent the speculation into overdrive as they put on a flirty display at a Paris bar, with an insider telling the Daily Mail the duo have ‘chemistry’. 

‘It’s not quite a fully fledged romance but Austin hasn’t been friend-zoned either,’ the source said at the time. 

Just days later, however, Zoe was also seen enjoying a romantic stroll with Harry in Rome, with the duo shown linking arms in video captured by a fan.  

Channing Tatum

Last October Zoe and Channing Tatum ended their engagement just a year after they made plans to tie the knot.

The couple had begun dating after Channing starred in Zoë’s directorial debut, the thriller Blink Twice.

The split was a particular shock for the couple, as they had not only gotten engaged, but Channing had been spotted with fresh ink of Zoë’s initials on the back of his hand that September.

The former couple were last pictured together on Channing’s Instagram page in a post from September 3, which showed Zoë apparently snoozing on her then-fiancé’s shirtless chest as he snapped a selfie of the two. 

In his caption, the Deadpool & Wolverine actor serenaded his love as he promoted her thriller Blink Twice. 

Channing and Zoë first set off romance rumors in August of 2021, when he was seen riding around in NYC on a bike while she joined him on foot.

The rumors reached a fever pitch in September of that year, when the two were seen leaving the Met Gala in Manhattan together, though they did not walk the red carpet together earlier in the evening.

By Halloween, the two had gone official with their romance.

They opted for playful matching costumes inspired by Martin Scorsese’s classic film Taxi Driver to cement their relationship status.

Karl Glusman

Prior to kicking off her relationship with Channing, Zoë was coming off a divorce from her first husband, the actor Karl Glusman, while Channing had only recently finalized his divorce from Jenna Dewan.

In 2022 Zoë described her ex-husband Karl as an ‘incredible human being’ following their highly-publicised divorce the August before after two years of marriage.

She revealed she still holds a place for her ex-husband in her heart, saying: ‘Karl’s an incredible human being.’

She went on: ‘It really is less about him and more about me learning how to ask myself questions about who I am and still learning who I am, and that being okay. That’s the journey I’m on right now.’ 

Zoe officially filed for divorce from Karl on December 23 2020.

Zoe married Karl, whom she began dating in 2016, at her father Lenny Kravitz’s home in Paris, France on June 29 in 2019.

The pair’s lavish Parisian wedding was held inside her dad Lenny’s three-story townhouse with Zoe’s mother Lisa Bonet, her then husband Jason Momoa, and their two children, son Nakoa-Wolf and daughter Lola, in attendance.

Ahead of the ceremony, a slew of stars were seen arriving at the property as Zoe prepared to marry Karl a month after their reported legal ceremony.

Among the guests were several of the actress’ Big Little Lies co-stars, including Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern and Reese Witherspoon.

Guests also included Oscar-winning actors Denzel Washington, Eddie Redmayne and British supermodel Cara Delevingne.

Twin Shadow

Back in 2016 she dated Twin Shadow – whose real name is George Lewis Jr -, with the pair often making public appearances together including at Coachella. 

They first sparking relationship rumours in July 2015, when they were pictured taking their first holiday in Miami, Florida.

The couple returned to the vacation spot in November of that year and then they took in the sights of Tokyo, Japan on her 27th birthday in December.

Zoë worked with the musician on a cover of Sade’s No Ordinary Love in 2015, the same year they sparked their romance. 

After months of red carpet appearances and cozy visits to Miami and New York City, they went their separate ways. 

Drake 

Zoe and Drake enjoyed a brief fling in 2013.

At the time they were seen kissing at a Beyonce concert. 

Drake and Zoe were also rumored to be an item as they each appeared on each other’s social media in cozy snaps.

Zoe addressed these claims during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live years later.

‘We hung out for a minute,’ Zoe explained. ‘But we are very good friends. You know.’

Host Andy Cohen did not seem too happy with the starlet’s answer as he pressed the question even more.

‘We hung out a little bit,’ she responded. ‘You know, it’s like how I hang out, I don’t know how you hang out.’

Host Andy joked that he knows what he would be doing if he hung out with Drake as Zoe and fellow guest Ilana Glazer responded: ‘He’s a cutie.’

Penn Badgley 

Penn Badgley and Zoe were first rumoured to be dating during the summer 2011, before confirming their relationship in the October of that year.

However multiple appearances together at premieres and PDA filled holidays the couple went their separate ways in 2013, almost two years later.

The actors were said to have ended their relationship due to conflicting careers and filming schedules, which resulted in them ‘not having time for each other.’

A source told Us Weekly at the time that the relationship, ‘just wasn’t working,’ but that the two, ‘really did end on good terms, though.’

They explained that both Zoe and Penn were focused on their acting careers but insisted that: ‘It wasn’t a sad breakup. It is all good between them.’

Adding: ‘They are at two different stages in their careers. They just didn’t have time for each other.’

Chris Pine

While Chris Pine and Zoe have previously been romantically linked, the actor attended Zoe’s wedding to Karl Glusman in 2019 and they are now friends. 

Chris and Zoë are first thought to have hooked up at London Fashion Week in 2013 where they were photographed attending parties for Tom Ford and W Magazine.

And way back in 2010, the Jack Ryan actor cosied up to the beauty at the Met Gala in Manhattan.
