Harry Kane Launches Vegan Protein Bar Business

Harry Kane has launched a new business venture selling vegan protein snack bars.

The England Captain, 32, has collaborated with vegan oats brand 3Bears to create the new Crispy Cocoa and Salted Peanut protein bars.

Made from 100% wholegrain oats, each bar contains 14–17g of protein per 100g, and they contain no refined sugar.

Hoping to capitalise on the growing market for vegan food, the new bars promise to keep you ‘Kane-Powered’ all day.

Harry, who currently plays for Bayern Munich, said about the collaboration: ‘We’ve focused on creating something that not only tastes great but also works for your body – whether you’re active, keeping things balanced, or just need a tasty sub.

‘It’s about giving everyone that extra push to be their best every day.’

Speaking as a sportsman he added: ‘ ‘Nutrition is huge for me as a player,’ he said. ‘Working with 3Bears lets me share that passion in a way everyone can enjoy.’

Harry also emphasised how important nutrition is for his career in order to fuel his games and aid his recovery.

He explained he works with a chef and nutritionist called D Dan Sargeant who prepares all his food for him to later cook.

Harry and 3Bears have also launched a competition to meet the England striker with  15 VIP packages up for grabs for two to meet the footballer in person.

They will also win a relaxed brunch with the brands founders Caro and Tim, and a padel tennis match. Other prizes include travel vouchers and Nutribullet Portables.

Last September Harry made his acting debut in a new advert for 3Bears in the style of beloved US mockumentary The Office.

Harry, who is a shareholder in the firm, channeled his inner Michael Scott as the star of a mockumentary resembling one of countless cringeworthy scenes from the American sitcom.

In the clip, a confused Harry plays the new boy at the 3Bears’ office, stunning staff by arriving for his first day on the job as if he were any other nine to five worker.

On his arrival into the office, he asks where to sit, leaving the room speechless before one of his bosses remarks: ‘He did say he wanted to be very involved.’

3Bears, which was founded by husband and wife duo Tim and Caroline Nichols, was born out of a shared love for porridge that blossomed during their time living in London.

The couple embarked on a mission to introduce the beloved British staple to Germany, a country famed for its bread and ‘Brezel’ – which is pretzel in English.

The 3Bears brand – named after the English fairytale Goldilocks and the Three Bears – symbolises their quest to create that ‘just right’ porridge, made with heaps of fruit, wholegrain oats and natural ingredients.

Harry said: ‘As an athlete, breakfast is the most important meal for me, and of course, I’m really conscious of what I put in my body, as well as the bodies of my family.

‘When I discovered 3Bears, I loved that they took oats to another level. 3Bears oats are the perfect choice to fuel the body, they’re a great source of natural protein, fibre, and complex carbs.

‘And, all that with natural ingredients and no bad stuff added. So that’s why partnering with 3Bears feels like a natural fit’.
