Harry Enfield, aged 62, and his partner Catherine Shepherd, aged 48, exude affection during a delightful shopping spree for home decor in London.

Harry Enfield and girlfriend Catherine Shepherd went shopping in London, on Sunday.

The famous comedian, 62, and his girlfriend, 48, put on a loved-up display as they picked out some home furnishings, on Tottenham Court Road.

Harry kept things casual in an indigo pair of jeans and brown boots, teamed with a light blue shirt and navy jumper, while keeping dry with an anorak.

Catherine stepped out in wide-leg jeans with a grey top and trainers, which she wore with a black velvet blazer and a striped scarf.

The couple were spotted with their arms wrapped around each other while checking out sofas, lighting and even bathrooms during their low-key weekend outing.

Catherine and Harry have been long time friends, having appeared together in shows such as An Evening With Harry Enfield & Paul Whitehouse, in which Catherine portrayed Olive and Sue.

She has also appeared in several of the Harry & Paul series’ as an ensemble actor.

In 2020, The Mail revealed that Harry had left his wife of 23 years, Lucy, whom he married in 1997. 

The former couple share children Archie, 26, Poppy, 24, and Nelly, 20, and had first met at a dinner party.

Harry was understood to have moved out of the family home in Notting Hill shortly after the split, with Lucy said to have been left ‘heartbroken’.

‘It’s very sad, but Harry is living elsewhere. He’s being comforted by a female friend. Lucy’s heartbroken,’ a friend of the couple told The Daily Mail at the time.

Lucy is a children’s clothes designer, but the brand she co-founded, Wild & Gorgeous, filed for administration in 2019.

Harry was at the height of his fame when he met Lucy, but she was oblivious, confessing: ‘I didn’t have much of a take on who he was.’
