Ben Ford, the son of Hollywood icon Harrison Ford, reposted a clip of his father’s endorsement of Kamala Harris in the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
Ben, 58, on Sunday reposted the clip to his 17.8K followers, a day after his father, 82, said he’s ‘going to vote for Kamala Harris’ in a clip released by the Democrat’s campaign.
In the clip, the Oscar-nominated actor, famed for playing Indiana Jones, and Han Solo in the Star Wars films, touted the credentials of Harris and vice presidential candidate Tim Walz.
‘These two people believe in the rule of law,’ Harrison said. ‘They believe in science. They believe that when you govern, you do so for all Americans. These are ideas I believe in. These are people I can get behind.’
Harrison made clear his disdain for the Republican candidate, former President Donald Trump.

‘He spent four years turning us against each other while embracing dictators and tyrants around the world,’ Harrison said of Trump, who served from 2017-2021. ‘That’s not who we are. We don’t need to make America great again – come on – we are great.
‘All we need is to work together again. All we need is a president who works for all of us again.’
Harrison was seen in a subsequent clip in which he noted that former Trump staffers are ‘telling us something important’ in their endorsements of Harris.
‘When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding alarms, saying, “For God’s sake, don’t do this again” – you have to pay attention,’ he said.
The veteran actor finished off his statement in saying: ‘I’ve got one vote, same as anyone else, and I’m going to use it to move forward. I’m going to vote for Kamala Harris.’
Harrison is one of dozens of notable names to stamp their endorsement of the Democrat ticket, joining a group that includes his Star Wars costar Mark Hamill as well as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez and Bruce Springsteen.
