She shocked viewers of the hugely popular Prime Video show when she appeared in the trailer for series four after Jeremy’s co-star Kaleb Cooper temporarily left the show.

She has been helping out Jeremy with an array of tasks on the farm and impressing viewers while also challenging stereotypes around women in farming.

This week Harriet appeared on the Should I Delete That podcast with Jeremy’s daughter Emily.

She spoke about one scene in the trailer that she thought seemed ‘fake’ when she watched it back but was in fact completely true.

They discussed on the podcast how busy farmers are and how Harriet also works a full time nursing job five days a week.

Emily asked her: ‘Do you ever sit down with your boyfriend and chill together, or eat together? It sounds impossible.’

Harriet then said: ‘No! In the trailer where it’s like, ‘Have you watched Clarkson’s Farm before?’ And I’m like, ‘No’, and when I watched it it looked so fake.

‘But it is so real because we don’t watch telly.

‘Literally, if we watch something, James will sit down, his head will hit the back of the sofa and he’s asleep because the second he can rest, he’ll sleep, because he’s so tired all the time.’

On the podcast Harriet also spoke about breaking stereotypes of women working in farming.

She said of appearing on the show: ‘I wanted to show that women can do it too, we are there but people can’t see it. Women can do it.

‘Most people think of just older men wearing checked shirts when it comes to farming.

‘I am challenging people’s views of what people think a farmer looks like. People are so shocked when they drive past and I’m in the tractor they just stare.’

The recent Clarkson’s Farm trailer showed Jeremy running into several obstacles on the farm, yet TikTok star Harriet made a good impression as she was quick to help.

Jeremy was left in awe at her work, turning to the camera and gushing: ‘She’s brilliant!’

She wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty as she put in fences, loaded feed for the animals and even showed her welding skills on Diddly Squat Farm.

Harriet, a full-time nurse and farmer, admitted in the clip that she hadn’t watched Clarkson Farm’s before but she didn’t let that slow her down.

Jeremy was left in awe at her work, turning to the camera and gushing: ‘She’s brilliant!’

Kaleb – who was on a nationwide tour – later returned to the farm and seemed to be getting along well with his replacement.

It’s hardly surprising that Harriet was a natural on the farm, having grown up helping her father Eddy tend to his land.

She revealed on social media that her mother wanted her to become a nurse but her father wanted her to follow in his footsteps – so she opted to do both.

Harriet has a healthy social media following, boasting 35,000 TikTok followers, while her Instagram bio encourages her fans to ‘come and watch the craziness’.

She also has a brand deal with Country Moos, a sock company dedicated to cow-print designs.

Harriet is in a relationship with fellow farmer James, with the pair cosying up together for a slew of sweet social media snaps.

In 2020, Harriet made headlines when she and her friends set up a challenge to cheer NHS staff during the pandemic.

The Belper Young Farmers group put a unique spin on the toilet roll challenge which had gone viral online.

In their clips, the group were filmed passing a loaf of bread between them as they worked on their land.

Speaking to Derbyshire Live about their videos, Harriet, then 19, said: ‘I thought we should do something to get everybody together as our club isn’t meeting because of coronavirus.

‘We saw the challenge online but we wanted to do something different – everyone else was doing the same thing with toilet rolls.’

Last week Jeremy finally confirmed the future of co-star Kaleb on the Prime Video series.

Viewers were welcomed back to Diddly Squat Farm for the new season on May 23, with two additional episodes released a week later on May 30, followed by the final two on June 6.

After much speculation, Jeremy, 65, has confirmed Kaleb is back on the farm as usual after Harriet ‘held the fort’ until he returned.

In a video posted on his Instagram last Tuesday, he clarified: ‘There has been lots of reports that Kaleb has been ‘replaced’ – well, no he hasn’t.’

He added: ‘What happened is this, he went away on his speaking tour, for a couple of months because he imagined that after four years, I’d be able to manage on my own.

‘And I didn’t – I made a complete mess of everything and had to bring in a young farmer called Harriet.

‘Harriet is brilliant and looked after the fort until he got back. That is it – that’s the story!’

Clarkson’s Farm has become one of the most watched series in the UK on Prime Video, and has been praised for raising the profile of British farming .

It has also launched Kaleb’s career. He was already working on the land when Clarkson bought it, and has now written three books.

It seems that Harriet, too, may well follow suit.

Clarkson’s Farm series one to three are available to stream exclusively on Prime Video.

Series four will air from May 23, with two additional episodes released a week later on May 30, followed by the final two on June 6.
