Big Brother’s Chanelle Bowen endured an excruciating Late and Live appearance, on Sunday evening.
The dental therapist from Llanelli, Wales was branded ‘slow and awkward’ with viewers claiming she couldn’t ‘string a sentence together.’
Chanelle, 29, gave very hesitant and stilted answers to host Will Best throughout the instalment of the chat show, and viewers were quick to point out the issue.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, fans of the show vented their frustrations over the recent evictee’s ‘painful’ interactions on the spin-of show.
One person tweeted: ‘Watching big brother late and live rn and chanelle is so slow sorry it’s actually really awkward to watch #BBUK #bbuk.’

‘How did Chanelle get on bb she can’t articulate herself at all #bbuk,’ asked one fan of the show, with someone else adding: ‘Chanelle must be related to a big brother producer or something bc she can’t even string a sentence together like wtf did her audition tape look like #BBLL.’
However, one viewer defended Chanelle, tweeting: ‘Yous don’t want media trained perfect celebrities for big brother but then when chanelle doesn’t give ‘perfect’ interview you all moan like wtf do u actually want #BBUK.’
Chanelle was the seventh person to be dumped from the Big Brother house, after receiving the most votes from the public last week.
The reality star, who was previously granted immunity from eviction, later had it revoked after appearing to hint at who she had nominated with other housemates.
Big Brother housemates are strictly not allowed to discuss who they have nominated and they are penalised if they do.
Chanelle admitted she felt ‘excited’ to be out of the house after being greeted with boos during her eviction, saying on Late & Live,: ‘I was ready to leave. Honestly, the boredom, the drama, how it all gets magnified. From them boos, I can’t imagine what’s been shown.’

Speaking about the show’s return, Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller of ITV2 and ITVBe, said: ‘The reception from our viewers to Big Brother’s return has been fantastic.
‘We’re therefore thrilled to announce that we’ll be bringing our very own celebrity edition to ITV1 and ITVX next year.
‘Casting is underway to find a new batch of famous faces who are sure to provide more iconic and unmissable BB moments.’
