Harper Beckham celebrated both her mother and father on Tuesday by wearing a bespoke Victoria Beckham design to celebrate dad Sir David’s knighthood.

The 14-year-old wore a classic black shift dress for the family celebrations, posing for photos with her besuited brothers Romeo, 24 and Cruz, 20, and her parents.

Victoria gushed in her Instagram caption that her daughter was ‘looking beautiful in custom Victoria Beckham’.

It’s not the first dress the doting mum has designed for her teenager. Back in September 2024 she created a custom floor-length baby-pink number which Harper wore to Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show.

In Victoria’s recently released Netflix documentary Harper was filmed having a fitting at Victoria’s Paris atelier as she gushed over the design.

Then for the premiere of the docuseries last month Victoria dressed Harper in an elegant black floor-length gown, a version of a design sold on Victoria’s website which retails for £1,890.

As well as designing for Haper, Victoria also created a bespoke suit for David, as he received his knighthood from King Charles at Windsor Castle.

The fashion designer gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the painstaking design process behind the look, created by her very own fashion house exclusively for the former footballer’s investiture.

At Sir David’s behest, the designer worked from old photos of King Charles wearing an identical morning suit to create her first ever menswear piece for the Victoria Beckham Atelier range.

A medium-weight construction, the three-piece look was crafted with the finest British wool mohair and embellished with a series of Royal flourishes, notably the distinctive lapel chain.

Victoria, meanwhile, wore a custom version of her brand’s Bela dress – perhaps symbolising the future of her fashion brand: a dual approach with clothing for both men and women.

Captioning a photo of herself alongside Sir David, taken at Windsor Castle on Tuesday, she wrote: ‘A day we’ll never forget. David wears the first ever tailored menswear piece from the Victoria Beckham atelier – a bespoke three-piece morning suit in British wool mohair, inspired by the timeless sophistication of British royal style.

‘I’m so proud of you. Thankful for this moment and for my incredible team who worked so hard to bring the vision to life.’

Sir David was made a knight of the British empire for services to sport and charity during Tuesday’s investiture, notably his impact on football over a twenty year period and subsequent ambassadorial role with UNICEF

Asked about his brief exchange with King Charles following the ceremony, the former footballer said: ‘He was quite impressed with my suit.’

Sir David admitted the tweed loving King had served as a somewhat unlikely inspiration for the suit, an elegant grey wool affair replete with single pleated trousers, tailed jacket and distinctive lapel chain.

‘He’s kind of the most elegantly dressed man that I know, so he inspired quite a few of my looks over the years and he definitely inspired this look,’ he explained.

‘It was something that my wife made me. I looked at old pictures of him when he was quite young in morning suits and I was like, OK, that’s what I want to wear, so I gave it to my wife and she did it.’

His look bore a striking resemblance to the morning suit favoured by Charles during an appearance at an Ascot polo tournament in 1979- right down to the finest details.
