Fool Me Once creator Harlan Coben has good news for fans right after the hit thriller with Michelle Keegan soared to the top of Netflix charts.
While the nail-biting thriller series remains at number one in the UK, the American author, 62, has teased two more projects are already in the works.
Talking to Radio Times, the mystery novel writer said: ‘We still have a few [books] left!
‘We’re doing one right now in Poland based on my book, Just One Look – we’re filming, and Netflix Poland is working on it. [We’re] also working on one in South America, believe it or not.
‘There’s no doubt that if Netflix wants us back, which hopefully, everyone watching will make this happen.’

He continued: ‘I’ll be working with Nicola [Shindler], Richard [Fee] and Danny [Brocklehurst] on at least another one or two. We want to keep this going, we love this kind of yearly thing if we can.
‘We skipped last year, but we’d love to try doing it where we have that New Year’s Day release for everybody, they can watch us hungover, and we can join them in the new year. This team has just been a dream to work with.
‘People always ask me why I set so many here in the UK when the books are US-based, and it’s because that team has been such a delight to work with – we started eight years ago [with] The Five for Sky.
‘As long as Netflix wants us, which I think they do, I’d love to keep working with them.’
The eight-part drama series – which was branded ‘riveting’ – is the seventh of Netflix’s successful string of adaptations of works by Harlan, after The Stranger and Stay Close.
It also stars Absolutely Fabulous legend Joanna Lumley, Murder Mystery actor Adeel Akhtar, The Hobbit star Richard Armitage and Peaky Blinders sensation Emmett J. Scanlan.
Fool Me Once came out on New Year’s Day after teasing subscribers to the streaming giant in December 2023 with the prospect of an ‘epic’ series.
Its synopsis reads: ‘When ex-soldier Maya sees her murdered husband on a secret nanny cam, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past.’

The author posted his New Year well-wishes while also plugging the new series.
He said: ‘Happy New Year. All 8 episodes of Fool Me Once are now streaming on @Netflix. Here’s hoping 2024 is your best year yet.’
In the show, Michelle, 36, plays the seemingly widowed Maya Stern, but after being gifted a hidden baby monitor, she sees her dead husband Joe – played by Richard Armitage – on camera.
This revelation throws Maya into a world of conspiracy as she questions what really happened to her partner, and what role his family, and in particular his mother (Joanna Lumley as Judith Burkett), played in the saga.
Fool Me Once is currently available to stream on Netflix.
