Hannah Dal Sasso had a run-in with her ex-boyfriend, tennis champion Thanasi Kokkinakis, on Tuesday when they were both invited to the Mumm Marquee at Melbourne Cup.
The former flames, who split in September 2024 after 18 months, arrived at Flemington Racecourse with their new respective partners, Rupert McLean and Paige Henry, and had a narrow brush with each other as they mingled with other A-listers.
But it would seem the interaction was far from awkward, as Hannah, 24, told Daily Mail she gets along famously with Thanasi, 29, and his new model girlfriend.
‘I wish Thanasi the best. I don’t want it to be weird… If I see him out, like now, we’re very friendly,’ she said.
‘We’re very chill. He’s got a girlfriend. He’s very happy.’
Hannah also said she won’t let their split keep her away from the Australian Open or the other tennis WAGs.

‘I love tennis. I love the Australian Open. [A lot of] my girlfriends are still dating tennis players, so I’m definitely going to see them,’ she said.
‘Hanging out with Paige [Lorenze], Mia [Savio], Costeen [Hatzi], we’re all going to go. I love the tennis, and we worked with Australian Open for so many years.’
Hannah proved she has well and truly moved on from her tennis champion ex, Thanasi, as she also revealed she has taken the next big step with her new partner.
The influencer said she her boyfriend, Rupert, have now moved in with each other after 10 months of dating.
‘We moved in together pretty quick. I was a bit nervous about it, but it’s been amazing,’ she said.
‘Everyone gives the, “Are you sure you’re ready?” It’s the first time I’ve ever lived with a partner. It’s definitely the right choice.’
She went on to recount how they ‘met on the beach’ over the summer after they were introduced by their friends, sisters Izzy and Riley Armitage.
‘Nothing started straight away, but after a while I thought, “He’s kind of cute.” Now we’re living together,’ she said.

As for any marriage plans they might have, Hannah said they have nothing in the works at the moment ‘but I definitely can see myself with him [long-term]’.
Hannah and Thanasi split in September last year after maintaining a long-distance relationship for 18 months.
She went on to publicly debut her new relationship with Rupert in Melbourne in March this year at the Ralph Lauren Fragrances Grand Prix event.
Rupert, who had an instant connection with the influencer, works in finance and is the son of former Real Housewives of Melbourne star Susie McLean.
The couple reportedly met just one month earlier through mutual friends.
‘It’s still early days but he understands and gets my job and it’s good to be able to go to events with him,’ Hannah said of the new romance at the time.
‘We met through our friends Izzy Armitage and her sister Riley and we’re very happy, he’s amazing.’
Hannah also debuted her match with Rupert at Glamour on the Grid the following day, the same place she first stepped out with Thanasi in 2023.

Rupert is one of two sons, with his brother Monty, shared by Susie, 56, and her ex-husband, former St Kilda president Rod Butterss.
Hannah’s new romance came after her ex Thanasi was spotted taking a stroll through Melbourne with one of the world’s top models in February.
Thanasi and his new girlfriend, Paige, first sparked romance rumours after the Australian Open men’s doubles champion posted a photo of the pair on his Instagram.
They could be seen taking a walk through the city as Thanasi sported a big smile on his face.
Thanasi and Hannah quietly called it quits last September when they stopped following each other on Instagram.
The pair spent a year and a half together and maintained a long distance relationship as the professional athlete often travelled for his tennis career.
Hannah was last seen with Thanasi in July 2024 during Wimbledon and travelled with him for part of the US tournament season.
However, it seems the pair finally called time on their relationship after debuting together during Glamour on the Grid in March 2023.
Hannah, who runs designer clothing hire company Styled by Mim, said at the time she and Thanasi met ‘a few months ago’ and had been travelling together ‘for a bit’.
