Halle Berry has introduced the newest furry members of her family, two kittens named Boots and Coco.

The Catwoman star, 57, announced she had taken in two cats she had recently found in her backyard.

Berry described how she discovered a family of cats on her property as she shared adorable snaps of the felines to her Instagram on Thursday.

In the caption, Berry revealed she had found a forever home for Boots and Coco’s siblings – with their mother now serving as her outdoor cat.

‘Introducing Boots and Coco!’ she began the caption. ‘I found these two little fur babies in my yard along with their 2 siblings and their mom! I got the mommy spayed and released her back in my yard and she’s now our outdoor cat and the other 2 babies I’ve found a forever home for and these two are our new lovies. It’s a full house over here!’

The post began with a snap of Halle lovingly holding Boots and Coco, followed by an image of the litter huddling outside.

The pictures also appeared to include the matriarch, who was seen stopping by a bowl of water left outside for her.

Boots, Coco, and their mother will also be joining Halle’s two dogs, Jax and Ro, as members of the Berry household.

It comes 20 years after Berry famously played the titular role in the 2004 box office bomb, Catwoman.

In 2021, after Zoe Kravitz was cast as Catwoman for the 2022 film The Batman, Berry received praise from fans about her role – prompting her to reply with a joke.

‘I’m sorry but Halle Berry ate her Catwoman role up, idk why ppl hate that movies, it’s camp. I love it,’ wrote one fan – leading Halle to reply.

She quote-tweeted the compliment and joked: ‘I’m seeing all the Catwoman love, everybody. Where were you guys 17 years ago,’ with a crying laughing emoji.

Halle’s movie Catwoman was directed by the French filmmaker Pitof and starred her amid such names as Sharon Stone and Family Guy star Alex Borstein.

The movie was savaged by the critics and was such a flop financially that it failed even to make its budget back at the global box office.

Halle herself got a Razzie Award for worst actress – but was game enough to hit the stage at the ceremony to accept it herself.

She raised her Razzie trophy in one hand and the Oscar she had won just three year’s earlier for Monster’s Ball in the other.

‘Thank you guys, thank you so much,’ she vamped, her voice heaving with mock emotion: ‘I never in my life thought I would be up here winning a Razzie!’

In 2018 Halle was honored at a New York Women In Communication event and gave a speech reflecting on the plus sides of Catwoman.

For one thing she pointed out that she made ‘a s***load of money that changed my life’ from the picture, according to Glamour.

‘Everybody around me said: “Girl, don’t do it. It’s going to be the death of you. It’s going to end your career.” But guess what I did? I followed my intuition and I did a movie called Catwoman and it bombed miserably.’
