Halle Bailey appears to have been confirmed she is going to a mother and is wed in her new cover story for Glamour UK.
The publication, which has just released its Women Of The Year issue, attributed a line in the story about being a ‘mum’ and ‘marriage’ to Bailey, 23.
The Little Mermaid actress seemed to be quoted as saying, ‘Being a mum, being newly married — there’s the positive side of it, but also the negative. I want to show that although things might look perfect from the exterior, that’s not always the case.’
But the quote was actually from the outlet’s interview with Leigh-Anne Pinnock of the music group Little Mix.
This comes after fans have guessed she expecting her first child with rapper beau DDG as she has been hiding her midsection in recent weeks.
New issue: Halle Bailey appears to have been misquoted in her new cover story for Glamour UK
Mistake? The publication, which has just released its Women Of The Year issue, attributed a line in the story about being a ‘mum’ and ‘marriage’ to Bailey, 23
Glamour UK has yet to get back to DailyMail.com about the confusion.
About the misleading quote, one fan on X (formerly Twitter) pointed out that as an American, it’s unlikely that Halle would refer to herself as a ‘mum’ versus ‘mom.’
And in the accompanying essay, there is no mention of the subjects of parenthood or romance.
That made it even more likely that the quote was misplaced.
The silver screen siren and her boyfriend have seen heightened pregnancy rumors since they were spotted together in Santa Monica last weekend, with Halle donning a bulky, oversized gray hoodie.
Making the appearance even more curious, Bailey had one sleeve rolled up, revealing a cotton ball taped to the crook of her arm.
Fans took that to mean she either had blood drawn or received an injection.

Despite the incessant chatter about her pregnancy status, Halle and her partner have remained tight-lipped.
She did, however, drop in on Instagram on Tuesday to share outtakes from the Glamour UK ceremony in London.
She wrote in a caption to her 7.2 million followers, ‘Omg you guys what a beautiful night .. i’m so grateful that I was honored with the Glamour Woman of the Year Gen Z Game-Changer award.’
The note continued, ‘This is such a special honor to me and feels oh so amazing to be recognized for the work that I have put in all the years of my career. being a young woman in the spotlight is definitely not for the weak.. but because of God, my loved ones and mentors I am able to face the world everyday with my head held high.’
