Hacks star Megan Stalter shared her thoughts on people who aren’t honest about using Ozempic for weight loss.
During an appearance on Grindr Presents: Who’s The A—–? with Katya podcast, the Cora Bora star, 34, spoke about the controversial drug with RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Katya Zamolodchikova.
Katya, 42, asked Stalter what she thinks about people who ‘lie about using Ozempic.’
Stalter quipped that she believes people are fooling themselves if they think they are being stealthy when using the drug.
‘Let’s just say the trips to the bathroom would say otherwise, okay? We know if you’re on it because you’re s——- your pants,’ she said. ‘How is that hotter than being fat? That is insane to me. That is crazy.’
‘I would rather be 500 lbs. than s**t all day. That’s so gross,’ the comedian added.

Stalter added: ‘Unless you have a sickness, then that is something you were born with.
‘But if you’re taking a drug on purpose to s**t your brains out, just so you lose 10 pounds, honey, we liked you a little chubbier.’
‘It’s wild,’ Katya agreed, adding that he was introduced to the drug commonly used for diabetes when he ‘heard’ that others who used it were reportedly ‘blowing up the bathrooms.’
On Hacks, Statler brilliantly plays Deborah Vance’s (Jean Smart) agent Jimmy’s (series co-creator Paul W. Downs) derranged but lovable assistant Kayla.
The two actors have insane on screen chemistry which likely stems from the admiration they have for each other.
‘There is nobody like Megan Stalter. She is one of a kind,” Downs told Vanity Fair.
Statler gave the compliments right back, saying of Downs, ‘Everything he does is the funniest; every idea he has is profound. That goes for all the creators and cast of this show.
‘I just love being the Kayla to Paul’s Jimmy. Kayla and Jimmy 4ever!’

Stalter was also asked who Kayla’s biggest Hollywood-glow-up inspiration would be.
‘Bethenny Frankel. Kayla would have invented the Skinnygirl margarita if Bethenny didn’t do it first.
‘You don’t think Kayla is scooping the bread out of her bagel every morning and eating it with caviar? Not because of calories, for the taste!!’
Season four of Hacks debuts on HBO Max on April 10.
Statler said she has always been so addicted to being on stage’ and was excited to step into a leading dramatic role in Cora Bora last year.
She explained why she likes being on stage with Them, saying; ‘I think it’s the connection with you and the audience.
‘You’re sharing something that will only happen one time. Even if you redo jokes and bits and stuff, every night is exciting, because you never know what’s going to happen, and you’re sharing a special thing together.
‘It’s almost like you’re having an inside joke. I feel the most powerful and confident when I’m on stage and so in control.

That is insane to me. That is crazy.’ ‘I would rather be 500 lbs. than s——- all day. That’s so gross,’ the comedian added
Even better, her character is a singer – which is something she’s always aspired to be.
‘I always wanted to do the solo or be in a singing competition, even though I wasn’t amazing,’ she told Them of her time in high-school chorus.
‘I sang ‘Amazing Grace’ for a singing piece and I was like, “Why did I do this? It’s not in my range. I’m nervous.” I just had this need to perform. It makes me so happy to be on stage.”
Her character in the film is bisexual like her and she said she was excited to get to play it, noting that she didn’t see many bisexual characters in film growing up.
‘It’s one of the things that really drew me to the movie. When I read the deck and the script, I was like, “Not only do I want to work with [Hannah Utt], this is the perfect movie for me.”
‘I don’t even know how many bisexual characters I saw growing up besides Ilana and Abbi on Broad City.
‘I know now we have so many more queer stories in the media than we did when I was growing up, but we still need so much more. There were so many nights when I’d just be Googling “gay girl movies,” “gay/bi movie,” “television show with a gay person.”’
