Gwyneth Paltrow and Daughter Apple Star in GapStudio Campaign

Gwyneth Paltrow has joined forces with her daughter Apple on a brand new fashion campaign for GapStudio.

The duo struck poses for the GapStudio’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Gap’s Zac Posen-designed collection.

But the campaign was more than just the clothing the women were modelling, with Gwyneth, 53, and Apple, 21, also offering a glimpse into their relationship.

The Oscar winner shed light into the origins of Apple’s name, revealing her ex-husband Chris Martin was the brains behind the moniker.

Meanwhile, the cheeky Vanderbilt University student also confessed to stealing clothes from her mother’s wardrobe.

‘Actually her dad came up with the name. It’s so her I can’t imagine anything else,’ Gwyneth says, before gushing about her daughter’s fashion sense. ‘She has amazing style, all her own.’

‘I would say simple but like with a twist,’ the nepo baby said of her style. ‘And then obviously stuff from my mom.’

‘She goes and takes a lot of my ’90s clothes,’ Gwyneth explains.

‘I don’t know if it’s stealing, but I’m stealing it,’ Apple says, finishing in a whisper.

‘I’ve just watched her style develop and evolve,’ Gwyneth continues. ‘She’s got a very strong sense of personal style.’

‘She knows how much I love her for exactly who she is,’ she adds. ‘The best advice would just be to unabashedly be herself.’

The comments section contained a few pointing out Apple’s resemblance to her mother and how she was the ‘perfect combination’ of Gwyneth and Chris.

‘Apple is the perfect combination of her parents! Gorgeous,’ one posted.

‘Gwyneth said, “hey DNA, COPY + PASTE” !!’

One suggested she got the modelling gig on account of her famous parents.

‘Did somebody say nepotism….?’ another wrote.

‘I’m a law, history, and society major but […] maybe I’ll take a theater course before I leave,’ Apple, a junior at the Nashville school, revealed to Interview magazine in April.

‘It’s really busy because after spring break I have tech week and I have to get everyone’s costumes ready for the show,’ she added.

She has also been enjoying the ambience of her college: ‘Vibes are great, honestly. It’s so much easier for me to get out of bed and walk to class when it’s pretty outside. Um, yeah,’ she said.

And Martin is working on a show there: ‘Oh my god, so—I’m in the lovely Vanderbilt Original Cast, the esteemed cabaret theater group. This semester’s show is a musical parody of Love Island called Love on an Island. It’s so fun. The songs are phenomenal.’
