Gwyneth Celebrates Apple Martins 22nd Birthday!

 wished her daughter Apple Martin a happy 22nd birthday in a Thursday Instagram post.

The timing is awkward as it comes a day after news that the star made massive layoffs at her $400 million company Goop driven by a strategic pivot toward an  workflow to boost profitability.

'Happy Birthday to my ultimate dream girl @applemartin You are the funniest, goofiest, most big hearted, knockout in the [world emoji], I love you so so so much ❤️mama,' wrote the star in her Instagram caption.

The image was of Paltrow's mini-me daughter modeling spring fashion. 

Apple responded to the gushing post as she wrote in the comment box, 'I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.'

It has been a busy time for Martin as last week the blonde graduated from Vanderbilt University in  and this week her Chloe modeling campaign debuted.

It has been a sad time in Paltrow's business world as after nearly 50 others were let go in late 2024.

Before the layoffs, Goop had about 200 employees. 

The layoffs were apparently 'justified via pivot to AI workflow,' according to the tip line on Emily Sundberg's Feed Me Substack.

It was also claimed that Paltrow had led the town hall meeting when the announcement was made.

The Daily Mail reached out to Paltrow and Goop for comment, but has yet to hear back.

The star, who also acts as CEO of Goop, founded the company as a weekly e-mail newsletter in September 2008.

Meanwhile, Martin has been doing very well.

She looked every inch a supermodel as she starred in Chloe's summer campaign, which came out on Tuesday. 

'What an absolute honor to get to work with Chloé. I have never seen such ethereal pieces. I cannot fathom how incredibly beautiful this collection is and the fact that I was able to shoot in them makes me feel more than words can express! Thank you for this opportunity,' wrote the star in her Instagram caption.

The graduate, who has already modeled for Self-Portrait and The Gap, posed in white boho-style clothing on a beach.

The Chloe campaign is a smart way to alert Hollywood that the latest has finished college and is ready to be hired for the silver screen. Apple has already secured a big Hollywood agent for her acting career as she follows in her mother's footsteps. 

It was a family affair on Friday in Tennessee as Apple passed a major milestone. 

She brought her divorced parents back together when she graduated from prestigious Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

and her ex-husband, , attended the ceremony held at FirstBank Stadium, 12 years after their infamous 'conscious uncoupling.'

Also in attendance was Paltrow's second husband, TV producer , whom she wed in 2018. 

Apple strolled along with her famous blended family, wearing a black gown over a white dress with Ray-Ban sunglasses. 

The budding model began studying at the university back in 2022 and majored in Law, History and Society. Vanderbilt is one of the most elite colleges in the country, with an acceptance rate of just 5.3 percent.

Proud mom Paltrow looked chic at the ceremony, wearing a pale blue dress with a button-down red jacket and matching scarlet high heels. 

The Oscar-winning blonde could hardly keep the smile off her face as she watched her daughter graduate. 

Apple took to her Insta Stories to share a photo where she was in her cap and gown with black sunglasses on. She held up her diploma as she smiled but did not add a caption. 

There was no sign of Paltrow's mother, Emmy-winning actress Blythe Danner. 

Though she has pursued theater as a member of the Vanderbilt Original Cast and has directed student productions, Apple was not a drama major.

However, she has already secured a top Hollywood agent at powerhouse agency CAA, and has detailed her dreams of becoming an actress.

Last year, Apple told Interview Magazine how she loves theater 'more than anything'. 

'I would love to do theater because I adore it so much. I’ve obviously never done film before, but I’ve been trying to get involved in student films. I was born a theater kid.'

'I don't wanna be a singer. I like musical theater, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying, I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act.'
