Guy Sebastian has a secret talent which shocked fans on Friday when it was revealed in an unlikely place.
The Voice Australia judge, 41, was touted as a master batsman on Reddit by a fan who claimed to have played a game of cricket with him once.
Delighted by the revelation, other fans jumped in with their own shocking cricket stories about the Battle Scars hitmaker, exposing his secret athletic streak.
Under a Reddit thread created by someone who questioned how popular Guy still was after all these years, one person revealed he is also a skilled cricket player.
‘I dunno about his music but he randomly filled in for my cricket team a few years ago and absolutely carved up,’ they wrote.

They added: ’50 off 17 and 3 wickets, so he’s got a fan here!’
Someone else commented a joke beneath the confession, delighted by Guy’s secret talent.
‘That’s actually hilarious. Imagine turning up to your Saturday league game and getting absolutely pumped by Guy Sebastian of all people,’ they said.

Apparently, the Redditor wasn’t the only person who found themselves in a ‘random’ cricket match with Guy as another person recounted their own experience with him.
‘I knew a guy who played indoor against him once and said everyone was ribbing him, but he was a great sport about it,’ they shared.
‘Laughed along then absolutely smashed them at cricket. So I think his skills are verified.’

While Guy hasn’t been very public about his cricketing skills, the international pop star hasn’t kept his passion for the game secret.
Along with wife Jules, he is often spotted field-side watching their sons Hudson and Archie play cricket.
In March this year, the happy couple rocked up to their local cricket pitch in Sydney with a couple of Bunnings fold-out chairs to watch a game.
They were seen yet again in December last year cheering their boys on as they cut casual figures at another children’s cricket game.
