Guest Sues Renee Zellweger for $10M Injury!

Tracey Belland, the woman suing Renée Zellweger and her boyfriend , is demanding more than $10 million in damages over allegedly suffering an injury on the patio of their rental home in Laguna Beach, on August 14, 2024. 

The plaintiff originally sued the 57-year-old Bridget Jones star, the 47-year-old Born Mechanic host and the home's owner Glenn Wilson in February for pain, suffering, emotional distress and medical expenses but TMZ just reported on the dollar amount Thursday.

Belland previously claimed a 'thin rug had been placed over a hole, which caused her to stumble over the uneven surface, resulting in an injury to her right knee.'

Wilson has filed a cross-complaint arguing that Zellweger and Anstead should be financially liable, and he also claimed the plaintiff should not be able to sue since she filed for bankruptcy.

A source close to the two-time Oscar winner told the outlet she lived at a nearby property and the Quest star was the one renting the home in question.

On April 23, Anstead celebrated his fifth anniversary of dating Zellweger by sharing a snap from when they met on the set of his HGTV/Discovery+ series Celebrity IOU: Joyride in 2021.
