The security guard at the center of the hotel incident that left 's daughter in tears has finally broken his silence.
The man, who has since been identified as Pascal Duvier, 53, released a statement via Instagram on Wednesday, after he reportedly , 11, while she was eating breakfast with her mother at the same luxury hotel in São Paulo, , that Roan was staying at.
'I take full responsibility for the interactions on March 21st. I was at the hotel on behalf of another individual, and I was not part of the personal security team of Chappell Roan,' he wrote.
'The actions I took were not on behalf of Chappell Roan, her personal security team, her management, or any other individuals,' Duvier clarified.
'I made a judgment call based on information we obtained from the hotel, events I had witnessed in the days prior and the heightened overall security risk of our location.'
Duvier wrapped up his statement writing, 'My sole interaction with the mother was calm and with good intentions, and the outcome of the encounter is regretful.'

Roan has denied having any knowledge of an interaction between her staff and Ada, who was staying with her mother and stepfather, Brazilian soccer star Frello, at the same hotel as the winner.

Responding to her comments, Harding said: 'Look, I would like to hope not, but at the same time, I think that you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity to make sure, I guess, that the people who work for you and that act on your behalf are acting on your behalf.'
