A second trailer for the upcoming animated comedy feature, Despicable Me 4, was released on Tuesday.
In the video, the Steve Carrell-voiced Gru dealt with the ups and downs of family life while his Minions, portrayed by Pierre Coffin, received a mission from Anti-Villain League director Silas Ramsbottom.
The feature – which released another trailer earlier this year – will also feature the talents of performers such as Will Ferrell, Joey King and Sofia Vergara.
The trailer begins with a long shot that makes its way through the particularly hectic and Minion-staffed headquarters of the Anti-Villain League.
The shot leads into the office of Ramsbottom, voiced by Steve Coogan, who receives a sudden red alert and exclaims that Gru has ‘been compromised.’

After a short segment detailing the rise of Maxime Le Mal, voiced by Ferrell, is shown, Gru’s wife Lucy Wilde, portrayed by Kristen Wiig, is chased through a supermarket by an elderly woman and just barely avoids her assailant.
Ramsbottom later remarks that he has been pulled out of retirement to deal with Le Mal, after which the supervillain and his girlfriend Valentina, voiced by Sofia Vergara, attempt to fuel up their flying craft and deal with a faulty gas pump.
Ramsbottom then selects five Minions to test out the League’s new ‘super-serum,’ which transforms them into superpowered ‘Mega-Minions.’
One of the Mega-Minions then attempts to heat up a co-worker’s cup of coffee by shooting a ray of energy from its eyes, although the ray manages to shoot through the earth and slice a satellite in half.
Several Minions are later seen attending a party, and when one gets itself stuck in a sizable mold of gelatin, its friends eat from the dessert around its body.
The trailer ends after Gru attempts to convince his adopted daughter Agnes to lie, and when his older daughter Edith tells a fib, he exclaims: ‘See! She’s lying right now – beautifully, I might add.’
The original Despicable Me film was released in 2010, and its two sequels debuted in 2013 and 2017, respectively.
A duo of prequel films, entitled Minions and Minions: The Rise Of Gru, were released in 2015 and 2022, respectively.
