Groom Struck by Car on Married At First Sight

Scott McCristal has certainly suffered some emotional knocks during his time on Married At First Sight.

But it was nothing compared to what the beleaguered groom went through while trying to promote his business.

A resurfaced clip, uploaded to Instagram by Scott in December, showed him promoting his asset and personal lending brokerage A Lend Finance.

Proving that he is not afraid to suffer for his art, the clip showed Scott getting run over by a black SUV.

After connecting with the reality star, the vehicle stopped and slowly backed up, leaving Scott writhing on the ground.

He bounced back quickly, jumping up with nary a scratch to continue his sales pitch.

The obviously AI-generated video was met with a flurry of comments from fans and followers, with many taking the clip at face value.

'I hope you're okay,' one sympathetic person wrote, while another chimed in with a similar: 'We gonna act like he didn’t just get hit?'

Others were quick to point out the digitally rendered nature of the video.

'Do people not understand this is A.I.?' one person commented.

Some had more nefarious explanations, however, with one MAFS fan suggesting one of his reality show 'enemies' might have been behind the hit and run.

'100% Bec was driving,' they joked.

Another suggested that Scott's erstwhile bride Gia Fleur had a stronger motive.
