Greg Shepherd has announced that his beloved father, Gary, has sadly passed away.
The businessman, 40, took to Instagram on Friday to share the heartbreaking news alongside several sweet photographs of his father over the years.
He penned: ‘Very sad to say my Dad Gary passed away last week.
‘Anyone who met my Dad would know he was the life and soul of the party, and if he took the p**s out of you, it meant he liked you (which is a trait I have of his).
‘I’ve been overwhelmed by messages and phone calls from his friends. You truly were one of a kind and lived your life Sheps way right to the end.
‘You literally rang me ten times a day. I never knew how much I would miss those calls until they stopped.

‘I will miss you more than you will ever know till we meet again, Dad. Love you ❤️.’
Greg’s wife, Billie, 35, also took to her Instagram story to reshare his sweet tribute, and captioned the post with a broken love heart emoji and a praying hand emoji.
After announcing the sad news, tributes poured in for Greg’s father, Gary.
TOWIE star Jordan Brook commented several love heart emojis, and comedian Josh James also commented a love heart emoji.

Greg’s heartbreaking news comes almost two months after he revealed his step-father, Dave, had died aged 77, and he shared a heartbreaking tribute to him.
The reality star posted news of Dave’s ‘sudden’ passing on Instagram along with a collection of photos and videos of him, admitting he ‘still had so much more to give.’
In his heartfelt statement, Greg wrote: ‘I’m gutted and heartbroken to be writing this, but this time last week, my dad Dave passed away suddenly.
‘He was 77, but still had so much more to give, and that’s what makes this so hard.
‘From the age of 4, you raised me as your own. You taught me how to be a father, and you made it look simple, you were always present, no matter what. You never missed a birthday, a celebration, or any important moment. You always had time for me and my sisters and grandkids.

‘I hope I can be the kind of man you were, Dad, always smiling, always dancing, the most grateful man you could ever meet, and always there for us.

‘Until we meet again, our kid… I love you more than you’ll ever know.’
