The Olympian, 37, will head to hospital to have surgery after he herniated and tore his abs (pictured shortly after he injured himself)
‘Long story short, I leapt through the legs of Colin and managed to tear all of my abs as well as herniate. So I effectively gave myself a C-section.
‘So yes, it was horribly painful. It needs to be operated on today and then I’ll be properly on the mend. It was very painful, pretty horrible.’
Greg then posted the video of the move which caused the nasty injury.
The Olympian was set to battle it all out against Ryan Thomas, Adele Roberts and Miles Nazaire for the trophy.
Ryan Thomas skated to victory and was crowned Dancing On Ice’s 2024 winner alongside pro partner Amani Fancy during Sunday’s action packed live final.
