US punk superstars Green Day have shared what they really think of Australia.
The band are currently performing Down Under as part of their Saviors tour.
During the band’s set at Sydney’s Engie Stadium on Monday, lead vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong let fans know about the state of play stateside.
TikTok user Alanah_Bananas shared a short clip of the show that showed Billie Joe taking to the crowd between songs.
‘We’re going to put all of our differences away right now,’ he declared.
‘Australia, you’re not as f***ed up as America,’ he added before breaking into a cheeky laugh.

He continued, ‘I just can’t help myself’, as the crowd roared in appreciation.
It comes after the acerbic frontman launched a savage attack on US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk in Melbourne on Sunday night, the Herald Sun reported.
‘Don’t you want these f***ing politicians to shut the f*** up?’ he asked the crowd at Marvel Stadium.
‘Don’t you want Elon Musk to shut the f*** up? Don’t you want Donald Trump to shut the f*** up?
‘I’m not gonna get angry. F*** that shit,’ his explicit rant continued.
‘We don’t need to see what’s on Twitter. This is about us; everybody together.
It comes after fans slammed Ticketmaster over the pricing structure of the Australian leg of Green Day’s Saviors tour.
The Basket Case hitmakers announced they would bring their Saviors stadium tour Down Under back in September, after promising to return to the country a year ago.

However, fans were not happy with Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model, which saw the costs of tickets rise in accordance with consumer demand, and up to $500 per head.
Unhappy Australian fans took to social media to voice their frustration.
‘Shameful and elitist,’ one person sniped, while a second added: ‘dynamic pricing is outrageous.’
‘The government needs to make this stop,’ a third person chipped in.
‘Green day, red flag,’ another furious fan wrote.
Speaking with the Daily Telegraph back in January, Billie Joe opened up about his struggles with addiction.
‘I had gotten sober for five years and then I guess you get FOMO, as they say, and I started drinking again, he shared.
‘It really started taking a physical and mental toll on me where I just felt like I just couldn’t stop. I’m a glutton, it’s an obsession.’

The band will round out their Australian tour with a show at The Gold Coast’s CBUS Super Stadium on Wednesday before heading to Mumbail to headline day two of Lollapalooza India
Now sober for 18 months, the 51 year old revealed how he managed to put down the bottle.
‘It started affecting on the people around me that I love the most. And that’s what I wrote about,’ he said.
‘I didn’t do it through any program or anything, I just decided one day, that I’ve had enough. There’s no party I haven’t seen, you know.’

They will then head to Mumbai to headline day two of Lollapalooza India on March 9
