The Block contestant Grant Freeman has exploded over sharing a win with co-stars Mimi and Kristian Belperio on Sunday night.
Grant, 30, and his partner Courtney McInnes were forced to split the $10,000 cash prize with the other couple when they tied for first place during bedroom reveals.
Tensions boiled over during Monday night’s episode when Grant inspected Mimi, 28, and Kristian’s ‘unfinished’ bedroom, labelling it a ‘dog ugly room’.
The heated clips began with the landscape business development manager picking apart his co-star’s room, taking exception to their unsecured doorstop.
‘We got pulled apart when our doorstop was in the wrong spot,’ he said, referencing the unsafe placement of his own doorstop in a previous room.
‘I’ll give it to people when I feel their rooms deserve it, but I just truly feel this week should have been ours outright.’
Grant later became heated with one of the producers when they accused him of saying his competitors’ room ‘sucked’, which he vehemently denied doing.
At that point, a clip from earlier that morning played which showed Grant exploding over sharing the win when he thought the cameras weren’t rolling.

‘Well, that’s a f**king joke. That’s a crock of s**t and I’ll say it in front of the cameras. Even without the painting not being finished that’s a dog ugly room,’ he said.
Mimi and Kristian, 31, and Courtney, 32, and Grant tied for first place and were left to split the the $10,000 prize on Sunday night.
Courtney and Grant dropped a whopping $27, 637 renovating their Mediterranean style bedroom and it was worth the price.
Darren Palmer chimed in that the room had a ‘2024 style’ that ‘works beautifully,’ adding, ‘it’s visceral I can feel this room’.

Fellow judge Marty Fox chimed in: ‘It’s the most marketable room we’ve seen so far on The Block.’
The couple’s final score of 28 from all three judges put them in front.
Kristian and Mimi spent a great deal less at $19, 569, but had a similar level of success for their opulent space.
‘Kristian and Mimi have risen to the occasion. They’ve adorned this house in the most beautiful way,’ Darren said.
‘This is going to be the most beautiful, photographable home with proportions like no other home on The Block.’
The couple’s final score of 28 tied them with rivals Courtney and Grant for the cash prize.
