Gordon Ramsays Aston Martin Door Fiasco!

was showcasing his lavish luxuries as he zipped through London with wife Tana in his new £1m Aston Martin Valhalla on Monday. 

The celebrity chef, 59, who has just unveiled his documentary, has been one of the customers to take delivery of the eagerly-anticipated supercars after arrivals were delayed however he appeared to be struggling to get to grips with the car. 

While pulling up at the swanky Savoy Hotel, Gordon could not work out how to open the handle-less dihedral door on the British car - leaving him asking photographer and car enthusiast, Freddie Atkins, who was filming: 'Where's the manual?'

As Tana sat inside awaiting release, the chef grappled with the door - seemingly unfamiliar with the fixtures and fittings of the swanky motor - and was even forced to knock on the window to his wife before working out the method. 

Once he had recovered from the embarrassing moment, the gracious star shook hands with Freddie as well as the doormen at the London landmark.  

F1 designer Adrian Newey helped design the new car, which has been branded ‘the son of the Valkyrie’, with a V8 motor assisted by three electric motors.

The Valhalla is Aston Martin’s first-ever hybrid, with a total of 1,064hp and 811lb-ft of torque. The 0-60mph time is just 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 217mph.

Gordon's awkward outing comes after he revealed his new son-in-law  refers to him as "dad" amid an ongoing estrangement from his own parents. 

Adam married the TV chef's eldest daughter Holly in December, but the wedding at Grade II listed Bath Abbey was overshadowed by a bitter family fallout that . 

Rumours of a fallout between Adam, his new wife and the gold medallist's family emerged in November, with Caroline ." 

Gordon was also accused of using his wedding speech as father-of-the-bride to criticise both Caroline and Peaty's father, Mark, who also missed the ceremony.  

But now the celebrity chef has told how he feels like he's gained a son rather than losing a daughter. 

He told Gaby Roslin's Reasons To Be Joyful podcast: 'He calls me dad. He messaged me and said "Hey dad, what have you got? Hey dad, are you around later?" 

And it's just like, "Oh my God". Incredible. And what a lovely couple. They are a dream for Tana and I.' Asked how much he cried at the wedding, Ramsay joked: 'Don't, have you seen the size of the flower bill?

'Sixty-three metre walk down the aisle and I don't know why Holly thought that every pew needed to be decorated with the most gorgeous carnations. All the flowers did go to a hospice and the local hospital literally the day after. 

'And then there's this moment, the car journey, and she's holding my hand, she's squeezing it, and said "Dad, it's time". And I... "Oh no".

He added: 'You know when you get excited and then you're just sort of nervous and you say "No". And then I walked into the bloody church and there's Adam absolutely bawling like he's just got out of the swimming pool.

'And even I'm feeling emotional now because it is an incredible day and we had such an amazing morning together. And I sort of got a new son as well, as opposed to saying goodbye to Holly. An amazing day.'
