Gordon Ramsay has revealed he has undergone surgery to remove Basal Cell Carcinoma, a form of skin cancer.
The TV chef, 58, shared pictures of his stitched up face on Instagram on Saturday and said he is ‘grateful’ for removing the cancer fast.
He wrote on Instagram: ‘Grateful and so appreciative for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma thank you ! Please don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend ❤️I promise you it’s not a face lift! I’d need a refund…….’
Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common type of skin cancer, which develops in the top layer of the skin (epidermis). They usually grow slowly, and they rarely spread to other parts of the body.
