This Morning viewers were left baffled on Tuesday when Gladiators, Legend, Viper and Fury made an appearance on the show.
Hosts Josie Gibson and Dermot O’Leary were joined by the trio for an interview after the rebooted BBC series returned to screens at the weekend.
But it seems fans of the ITV programme were rather confused when Viper refused to speak during the ‘awkward’ segment and Legend came across as ‘obnoxious.’
Sharing their thoughts on Twitter / X one person wrote: ‘I can’t stand the ego of Legend, he’s so obnoxious.’
‘These Gladiators are idiots,’ another added.

A third person wrote: ‘What a p****!! I understand trying to be in character, but to go on an interview show and come across like this is madness. Lol.’
‘Wtaf was that!!!???? #Gladiators #ThisMorning if there was ever any chance of me watching it. There certainly isn’t now! That might be a character, but ffs,’ someone else fumed.
Meanwhile, another viewer posed: ‘Clearly nobody understanding that they are in character for this interview.’
It comes after Gladiators viewers hit out at cast member Viper during Saturday’s launch of the reboot series as they compared him to 90s original Wolf.
More than three decades since it first launched, Gladiators returned to screens this weekend with a brand new group of superhuman-like athletes challenging members of the public to take them on.
Fans of the show, which now airs on BBC One, were quick to make comparisons to the original programme which ran from 1992 to 2000 on ITV.
After watching him flex his bulging biceps and attempt to intimidate his competitor, many members of the audience were unable to stop themselves drawing comparisons between Viper and Wolf.
But it seems Viper’s efforts left a lot to be desired, with many taking to social media to insist his performance was not a patch on Wolf.

One person wrote: ‘So I guess Viper is the new Wolf on #Gladiators.’
While someone else shared: ‘Viper trying to be the new Wolf. No one will ever compare.’
‘I was enjoying #Gladiators until they just manufactured some excuse to make Viper the new Wolf. Way too contrived,’ remarked someone else.
While another viewer commented: ‘So Viper is meant to be the Wolf character. He’s about as scary as a tea cosy.’
