Ever wondered how supermodel and busy mother Gisele Bundchen looks so serene and peaceful, even following her rollercoaster year?
The Brazilian beauty, 43, has shared her five stress management tips – which include the tried and true methods of exercise, meditation, and time in nature.
‘Managing stress is part of life and while we can’t always control our circumstances, we can choose how we respond to them and try to find healthy ways to deal with it,’ the ex-wife of Tom Brady revealed this week.
Most importantly, Gisele – who is rumored to be romancing her hunky Jiu-Jitsu pro Joaquim Valente – believes that physical activity for a rush of endorphins is key to finding a more relaxed state of being.
Gisele Bundchen combats stress on a daily basis with her action-packed modeling career and children to raise – and now she has shared her tips on how to relax like a supermodel
‘Do a physical activity: it doesn’t need to be weights at the gym. Find something that you enjoy, dance, yoga, run, play a sport. The important thing is getting your body moving so you can benefit from the release of endorphins,’ she explains.
Gisele then suggests spending time in nature for a dose of relaxation.
‘Walk in nature: Spending just 20 minutes a day connecting with nature can help lower stress and balance hormone levels.’
Her third tip is to meditate or do ‘conscious breathing.’
‘Meditation / Conscious breathing: Find a comfortable spot in a quiet place, focus on on your breath, allow your mind and body to calm down,’ she explained.
Gisele – who has been a wellness ambassador for Gaia Herbs since September – also gave a shout out to the brand in her fourth tip on her Instagram page: ‘Use herbal supplements: @gaiaherbs Ashwagandha, for example, can help improve the body’s resilience to mental and physical stress.’
She also advises to consume a balanced diet and avoid eating ‘sugary, processed’ foods.’
‘Eat a balanced diet : Do your best to avoid sugary, processed foods and try to eat more whole food that nourish your body,’ she wrote, before ending the message with the ‘ad’ hashtag.

Gisele has been a vocal advocate for all things self-care during her career, describing how such holistic practices have helped her find tranquility.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, Gisele explained that she turned to yoga and meditation after she began suffering panic attacks in her 20s.
She said: ‘My natural instinct was, “I’m not going to be a victim of this.”‘
In her memoir Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, Bundchen described how she often felt trapped as a result of the pressure of the fashion industry, and the frequent stress led to her suffering panic attacks.
Speaking to the Observer in 2020, the supermodel described one of the episodes that prompted her to turn to Yoga, saying: ‘When I had a panic attack, I thought I was going to die. I was scared. I couldn’t breathe. And what I realized was that I am creating this for myself: we are creating the lives we are living with our actions and we have a choice. I chose to come into [my routine] because it was a tool that I found to heal myself.’
Gisele turned to yoga, meditation, silent retreats, crystals, cut out sugar, alcohol, caffeine, carbs, and took up a plant-based diet to fuel her healthy lifestyle and take charge of her life.
She has maintained that lifestyle years later and still finds solace in the outdoors.

Gisele – who shares two children with her ex-husband Tom Brady – previously praised the benefits of meditation in an interview with People.
‘It’s like taking a step back and observing it like a movie, the situation happening,’ she explained of the practice.
‘And even though you feel the emotions, you’re not attached to them. It’s not attaching to the emotions, it’s observing them. And when you observe them, you can take this little step of separation. It can allow you to take a breath and come in from a place where it’s not reactive, but it’s more proactive. You’re like, okay, let me assess.’
She also touted the importance of self-care: ‘No one is going to do it for you. The only person that’s going to make those choices is you. Because ultimately, you’re the first person who’s going to be impacted by it. But then, it’s your children, it’s your husband, it’s your family.
‘You got to put the oxygen mask on you first.’
