The U-turn comes despite plans for Gino to move to Australia for work projects, after his upcoming shows on  were removed over multiple claims of inappropriate conduct allegations.

His restaurant empire was also said to have racked up debts of £7.3million before going into administration.

One source told Daily Mail: 'Gino has found out more than anyone that it is a buyer's market at the moment. It's very unpredictable. He will no doubt have been gutted that he has had to reduce the value.

'It's clear he has not been able to find a buyer who will pay what he wants for it. This is despite Hoddesdon being a really upmarket and trendy area.'
