Emeli Sande has been reportedly ‘forced to cancel her wedding’ to girlfriend Yoana Karemova just one year after their engagement.
The Scottish singer, 36, announced her engagement to the classical pianist last September, six months after revealing she was part of the LGBT community.
But now their wedding plans have had to change swiftly due to Emeli’s ‘busy schedule’.
The Scottish singer told Metro: ‘We’ve kind of put them on hold until I get this album out and we do the shows this year but we’ll probably start planning next year or early next year.’

Like her famous fiance, Yoana Karemova also has a penchant for music – in fact she is a classical pianist, and it is their shared love that brought them together.
The couple first met while the Beneath Your Beautiful singer was studying classical music.
Yoana hails from Bulgaria and has performed as a concerto soloist all over Europe.
She started mastering her craft with at the tender age of 5, when she first sat on the piano stool.
The talented classical pianist was only 11 when she gave her debut solo recital and went on to study piano performance in Sofia, Bulgaria before furthering her skill at Trinity College of Music, London.
The performer, who is now based in London won the First Prize in the Virtuosi of the Piano International Competition in the Czech Republic in 1995, but her name boasts several awards.
